It's interesting that they constructed a sample-based brass instrument when *a long time ago*, one of their first software instruments was Brass, which was a demonstration of their virtual modelling that would inform their later emulations, including the piano. Almost full circle ;) =]

I think t's a mix of sampling and synthesis. There's a littele delay when you load the presets (like with Augmented piano).

A very nice job, as always. It may be the most conventional of the Augmented range - hybrid brass - but it certainly looks like they've made a good job it.

Thanks! FWIW, I got Aug Brass today for $29 verses the sale price of $69 ($99 retail) I do have other Arturia Products V9, hardware, etc. so not sure what others might see. Seems like a great deal $29. Now if that LX-24 will go back on sale! Thanks for the quick heads up!

Nice as a mellow jazz brass (acoustic brass) comp with Pianoteq jazz guitar (or Session Horns Pro), Amplesound Upright bass and Addictive Drums. A lot of fun.

All the Augmented instruments sounds great really love the concept
