West coast synthesizers like the Easel is quite hard getting used to. Nevertheless it's a fascinating one. Great job at explaining it so well

Mr. Chisnall, your tutorials are brilliant! I have not seen anything more detailed and clear before. Even I (Russian with poor English) can understand everything you said. Огромное спасибо Вам!

Thanks! Not so hot on my brevity chops, but you can't have everything ;)

@@OneManAndHisSongs I don't think brevity is a problem for you. If someone can't sit through this they probably have ADHD and can always speed up the video. As for me, I sometimes had to repeat sections to make sure I didn't miss something. It is important to catch all the concepts since new concepts often build on previous concepts, similar to mathematics. I used to be a college math teacher. You can probably tell.

Does this map pretty well onto the real buchla easel?

Sadly I've never had my hands on the real thing, so I couldn't say. In general, I believe Arturia's philosophy to be faithful and exacting reproduction of the original in the primary interface, with a wider licence to enter "what if" territory in the "Advanced" pages.

@@OneManAndHisSongs Thank you for your response. Seems like it might be a good starting point, using the vst, to see if the real deal is worth getting involved with.
