Thank you for the great overview! One question, yes, I'm quite new to this: Is bus force considered a channel strip for replacing multiple plug-ins to reduce CPU usage?

As always, these companies make very nice graphical interfaces with questionable sound quality. These plugins, like almost all of this company, have a quantity of aliasing at 44100 Hz and 48000 Hz that makes them not very usable (at least for me) in a real way. There are alternatives from small developers, who achieve aliasing levels close to analog audio. This is not the case with the plugins of this company.
@misterniceshoes28883 жыл бұрын
Aye it's a shame they don't have oversampling. I think there is no excuse in this day and age. I run 96k these days to minimise alising in plugs that don't have filtering. Obviously no all plugs need it but when you have analogue emulations modeling saturation oversampling is a must.
@fjlamela3 жыл бұрын
@@misterniceshoes2888 I totally agree
@tavaresmanuel35233 жыл бұрын
@@fjlamela with that being said what’s the point of getting this if it stand out uniquely from similar plug-ins from different companies ? It just seems like I can do everything with the stock plug-ins in any DAW. My ear isn’t trained so maybe I have more to learn but it’s just an observational question.
@fjlamela3 жыл бұрын
@@tavaresmanuel3523 Indeed you can do almost everything with the standard plug-ins in any DAW. Especially thinking that many of the plugins that are sold are not optimized as I have commented previously. Aliasing in plugins during the years 1999-2011 has a logic due to the low processing power in the cpu's. In 2021 that plugins have that level of aliasing is nonsense and really a deception to users. It is not only necessary a trained ear but also a correct listening chain: Acoustically treated listening room, monitors, converters ... However, the aliasing of many plugins is more than evident when listening to them even without having an optimal listening environment.
