Nice work. Appreciated. I use MB since last almost 4 yrs. Since last 1 yr I was bored of it. But when I connected out of MB through strymon bigsky and timeline I realized it's very super gear. And since then still I find it useful in my composition.

Thanks! Yes, It`s a specific synth with a bit different workflow but sometimes not knowing what`s happening can get some good ideas. Anyway, it`s a synth with a solid sound.

I miss my old Minibrute SE. I would love to pick up a 2 sometime. It’s capable of some really unique sound tones. Definitely shines with effects, too.

Loved how busy, yet clear that first minute is. How is the Metalizer and Brute Factor compared to the original Minibrute?
@esersound14 жыл бұрын
It`s hard to tell, I`ve played the first version very long ago and I don`t remember too much. The synth sounded very good so I assume they are ok. I like both of them here in some way but only in some cases, too much of them can make some mess.

Hey bro! I'm looking to get a synth in the 500usd price range and thinking between the minibrute or minilogue xd. I'm mostly interested in darksynth or synthwave sound, what would you choose? No presets isn't a problem for me, more like a part of the charm :^)
@esersound13 жыл бұрын
Hard question. I`ve played once the Minilogue for about 10 minutes and that time I liked the sound of it. Both of them should give some good results although I think the Minilouge can be more universal because it`s polyphonic.
@BFBeast6663 жыл бұрын
Minilogue XD first. Four-voice polysynth, which means you can play chords without needing to "cheat" the synth. Granted, the XD doesn't have the insane mod capability of the Mbrute, but you can get nice patches real fast. Add in the on-board FX and the ability to load user oscillators and you have a very solid starter synth with a nice sonic range. Once you're good friends with the Minilogue XD, you can think about what to pair it with. I'd go for a decent set of drum samples or a full-on drum machine for that authentic '80s sound.

@@BFBeast666 thanks for the advice! Minilogue XD really seems to be the choice, I agree with everything you said. Although in the end I decided to get a behringer 2600, just to really dive into synthesis. Now I'm just waiting for it to arrive and saving money for a korg ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still not entirely sure how I feel about the Minibrute 2. When I use mine sometimes I get filled with inspiration because there's so many cool techniques you can do with it. Other times I'm a bit disappointed because I feel like the sound is a bit one sided at times. I quite like the sound of the oscillators and the filter can be nice on low end with not too much resonance. But on a lot of setting the filter just doesn't fit my taste at all. But it really shines in other things like bass plucks for examples. Great demo! :D

That was pretty cool! I own the drumbrute. I was considering a minibrute 2. Is it worth it? I want to make some beats and then play my guitar over with them
@esersound13 жыл бұрын
It`s a bit hard to answer. The Minibrute 2 is a really nice synth but with no presets. If you want a good sounding analog synth with really nice capabilities and don`t want to rob a bank, then yes. If you want to save some presets, then it`s another story ;) Maybe Bass Station 2 in the price range.

@@esersound1 Thanks for your answer =) Well, lets say what about if budget was not a problem? I think the mini brute 2 or 2s sounds amazing =) I just need to figure out how to make them loop so then I can play my guitar and vice versa. any tips???
@esersound13 жыл бұрын
@@knutSchevik For looping you will need another device (If it comes to hardware), but you can do it via a DAW. If you think that a synth sounds amazing for you then just go for it. Presets, no presets - just go with it. Almost every synth (on the market) can do what you want , the question is only about presets. If it comes to my favourites (with unlimited budget) - Novation Summit, all of the Prophets (especially Prophet X), Jupiter X from Roland (although a bit hard for programming), all of Teenage Engineering products etc, I could go on with everything. The rule for me is - there`s no bad synth just bad imagination. I love everything I`ve tested on my channel, so it`s really up to you ;)

@@esersound1 hello, thanks so much for your tips! This is very valuable information for me 😁 i liked what you wrote regarding to imagination. Its true... sometimes we can do a lot with just a little. Regards, Knut.
