Well done, I just got this bad boy and I need to put it to work.

Hind on, I’ve been watching many of the demos of this keyboard and you have showcased its capabilities better than most. Do you still recommend this keyboard for strings and a vocoder at its price point?? Thanks, Fred

Thanks much :) It was a long time ago, but I remember the good build quality, nice keys and that "thing" could make me "lalala" 😂 I've gone in a new world of sounds based on everything I can record around me and play with it, but yes, I would still want that one in my (sadly just) imagined instrument lineup.

Excellent demo. Can someone please explain to me if it is possible to play a beat and then have it looping so you can play on top of it your synth melodies only by using deepmind 12?

I’ll take the Arturia any day. 39 awesome synths I would never even dream of being able to play, let alone own. Not to mention the extra features they add, like effects, arpeggiators, mod matrix etc. make them better than originals IMO. Especially with a Keylab controller.

Synth demos go along way. Your one of the few along with the guy who makes Han zimmers synth sounds in dune who really showcase this! Excellent work bro!

I keep coming back to this . What mic are you using please ?
@esersound1Ай бұрын
Here it is an Earthworks Ethos, which is basically a podcast mic, but it’s one of the most natural condenser mic I’ve used so far.

Sound design at its finest. Good stuff.

Something about that extra 10 percent you get from the actual Juno makes it sound like an "instrument". With the Arturia you'll have to do little more heavy lifting to get it to feel and sound convincing. "midi note lengths/filter automations/compression/or whatever, just so it doesn't sound like "midi music". I love the Arturia, and for certain patches it will do just fine. But something about the hardware just sounds finished out the gate.

@studiomofunic25034 ай бұрын
The stereo output is less on the Arturia. You can clearly hear the difference in depth here. But for the price of the VST, is this a bargain. kzbin.info/door/zPnepngEwGCyVLWAUe79-g

The most important step no one shows. How do you plug and what type of cable needs
@esersound14 ай бұрын
It's a basic USB-C cable and after installing Arturia Software center it is basically plug and play.

Do you like the kyra or iridium more?
@esersound16 ай бұрын
They are different and it's hard for me to answer that question, as I like both very much. Although the workflow of the Iridium is simplier and it can do lots of sound design stuff, which I like very much. Kyra, let's say, was less straightforward, but more revarding at the end. You can check both Iridium and Kyra demos on my channel, it should give a picture about my thoughts.
@MarianoPerez6 ай бұрын
I just got the kyra. It was too difficult to say no to a new one for $1k usd. I figure it can do most of what a virus can do, which is a synth I've wanted for a decade. Unfortunately, the virus is too expensive, even in the used market.

Countdown to the golden-eared showing up here in the comments with some crap like “…they sound nothing alike…” and almost always with something about “…the low end…”. Those people are the low end.
@rockyhill99658 ай бұрын
VST sounds fine. The amplifier circuitry on the Roland keyboard will always color the sound to varying degrees depending on things like electrolytic caps that have been slowly drying out over the past 40+ years. This VST has a good vibe.
@esersound18 ай бұрын
Also, the fact, that you can't easily set the faders/knobs values on the original, as in the software. So this and the AD/DA conversion can make the difference too. Anyway, Arturias Juno is still one of my favourite "incarnations" of the original.

I had a juno60 for several years. It could sound both cheesy and also very good. The vst version sounds the same in the mix.
