New subscriber! I just got my arturia and would be completely lost without you! What is your next video going to be about? MORE LOGIC AND ARTURIA PLEASE 😁

Thanks coco, yes i am focusing on Arturia minilab mkll and and Logic mainly as there was hardly anything on youtube about this duo, 😊 next will be about another midi mapping style, so watch my other videos on Logic and AMmkll setup and stuff that i uploaded earlier. Once again thanks for your support and I'm glad that my videos were useful to you, 🙏🏻

Hello, I watched your video with interest but also with awe. How calm and easy you explained it all. Of course I had to try it with my new minilab 3 but that didn't work first and foremost because the MCC from the MK2 differed from the Minilab 3. How can I solve this. I work with Logic Pro X, could that also be a wet blanket? Tom
@ipsinghification Жыл бұрын
Hi Tom , thanks a lot for your humble words , :) i don't own the minilab mk3 yet but know that arturia released a script for it to work with logic kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHzSZ3SPnJJratk&ab_channel=Arturia Live grid mode mapping i'm not too sure of , but no matter how different MCC UI looks conceptually it'll be the same , i know midi mapping can be complex , and thats what i am trying to do , provide the foundation groundwork so that you can apply them easily in any production and live performance workflow enhancements :)

Just wondering if you're using an M1 Mac and Big Sur OS? If so, if you've had any issues?

Hi , i use a mid 2012 macbook pro , 32 gb ram , 4tb ssd , OS mojave , no issues and i have many plugins and most are still not big sur compatible. having said that i think midi mapping on minilab mk II and LPX will not be affected at all.

good! good video. it has helped me a lot. I have a problem with the potentiometers on ipad with garageband or minimoog. If I put absolute in the midi control center it never remembers the value that it shows on the screen and always starts from the one that the knob has. If I move the knob with the screen and then manipulate the Arturia, it jumps to the position in which I left it with the Arturia previously. If I use relative it stays in some locked values. I would like to configure the knobs so that they send only to increase the value of the knob or to lower it. thanks for any help!
@ipsinghification Жыл бұрын
Parameter Value will work well if the knob is on Absolute , relative works more like a page navigation , just dont assign the same knob for 2 different tasks , and use the knob as take over from where you left see screenshot setting - happy to help ibb.co/QHhss4g
@iagowski Жыл бұрын
@@ipsinghification Yes I understand. in Ableton Live I have no problem. I move the knobs with the mouse or with the arturia and I don't have a problem with jumps, the knobs always start from the position where I left them (I configured the midi parameters of the ableton with a youtube tutorial and everything is perfect). But I can't find those "control surfaces" options on the ipad. and it is very cumbersome that when I move a knob that controls the volume it jumps to the last position I touched on the arturia and does not continue from the one seen on the ipad screen. The problem is on Ipad with garageband, MiniMoog or other apps. Can you think of where the error could be? Thank you very much for responding so quickly.

Would this apply to garageband as well?

Hey, thanks for the tutorial on using Analog Lab with Logic. It really helped me. However, what do I do if I also want to control the parameters of another plugin like alchemy for example.When I assigned all the knobs to the parameters in alchemy I have the same problem with Analog Lab again. The Knobs don't control the parameters in Analog Lab anymore and when I assign them to the parameters they are very jumpy. Can you help me with this problem? It would be nice if you could make a video on it since there is nothing about it on youtube yet.

@@charlottecoppola , to do that > Select a particular Knob and then in the lower pane panel each knob will show you the selections of whatever you can copy e.g. >mode >option >channel >cc number you just have to right click and press >copy value to other knobs * Knob 1 and 9 will have multiple sections and they don't come under the special paste command , them you have to manually change.
