Thanks for posting this detailed explanation of the dco’s potential. The Pulse Width cross-Modulation and Ring Modulation buttons were mine secret weapons to make great sounds on Elka synthex as a previous owner. Synthex High Pass filter mostly forgotten and underestimated, wonder if Synthx V captures matches the original.

I'm jealous! I never owned an original :)

I don't have any arturia products, I've wanted to try them for a while... what would you suggest for a multi genre producer? Pigments? A subscription package maybe?

Most people recommend the V collection - but its pricey. Wait for Black Friday in November - could be 50% off. Have you downloaded the FREE Analog Lab Play ?

I'm sure it's not the answer you want to hear, but honestly (and I'm not paid to say this) the Arturia bundles are superb value. The FX Collection for effects and the V Collection for synths are both invaluable to me and way cheaper than buying individual products (although the initial hit is painful). If I was starting my collection from scratch, after Cubase they'd be the first things I bought (well, maybe after the FabFilter bundle...)
