Oh my! Probably just a coincidence but the chord played at 2.14 took me right back to Clockwork Orange intro. Dear old Wendy Carlos Thanks for another cracking video. All power to you

Yeah, Wendy rules. Not looking forward to the eyelid-based nightmares now, though...

Hi Anthony. You're doing fantastic job going through all Arturia's synths and explaining all in detail! Sure the manual in built in tutorials are great way to start.., but I have to admit.. this is more clearer or faster to understand for some users to follow. Respects! ❤

Hi Anthony Another great video. Thanks for this and looking forward to the rest of the series. I love the Elka and it's a shame it arrived on the scene when the dreaded DX7 stole all the thunder! I've got the Cherry Audio version which doesn't have quite such an extensive modulatable effects section - still sounds great though. It will be interesting to see if it's possible to emulate Arturia's Elka presets with the analogue engines of their Pigments synth. The layer routings look similar (though the arpeggiator looks a bit different). If Arturia do a demo version of the Elka I might have a go at replicating a couple of presets on the Pigments synth one cold damp miserable rainy afternoon when I can't go out due to the limited range afforded by my ankle tag. Note to self ...... probably shouldn't mention the ankle tag. Keep up the good work. 😀

Thanks for sharing ;) You're asking a lot of the Pigments engine there. The Synthex has a pretty idiosyncratic oscillator design. Have at it, though - the joy is in the journey :)

Instead of paying 199 euros for Arturias Elka X emulation I suggest the CHERRY AUDIOS ELKA X emulation which cost only 49 dollar and its so amazingly good and Cherry audio is very well known for delivering high quality design aswell as high quality sounds aswell in combination with expanded options integrated within their emulations ❤

It's $69 for me.

Yep - the Elka Synthex is one of their best, in my opinion.
