Great video. I recently got the MPC One and have been running it in standalone mode, avoiding using the MPC II software like the plague since I can’t figure out how to transfer projects made in standalone to the software when you plug in the USB. It should work like docking a Switch if you ask me. Maybe I’m missing something but I find working between the software and hardware to be a chore. I do have Arturia 7 and the Triton plug-in. I might consider trying the MPC software again to run Arturia but just wish I could get in and out and back to standalone mode wish my project. I spend day working on a computer, I prefer dealing with just the hardware.

Just got V Collection 8. In controller mode, how can I change presets from the machine plugin selection? All I see get with V Collection is: Plugin: DX-7V. Preset: . Other VST's allow me to scroll through presets. Do I have to use my mouse and computer to manually scroll through the Arturia presets?

That beat was great! I'll have dust off my MPCL. Yeah, I was P/Oed: two days after I upgraded to the V-Collection 7 they dropped the VC 8 and won't offer a special discount for people who've recently purchased an upgrade, but, the other disappointing part was that the B-3 V2 upgrade was free in the VC 6, while they are selling the Jup 8 V4 and Stage-73 V2. ugh. This collection is incredible, though.

but UVI runs on my Quad core...so...either way good review. The emulation is on point. For the money though (including a new pc)...I'd rather dump that cash into hardware. Just my preference...

I just spent $250 on V Collection 7 and can't bring myself to drop another $200 on 8 a month later (even if I suspected this was why 7 was on such a sale, and it's normally a $500 product anyway). Even if the Emulator is so tempting and I don't even know why I'm fussing at the price of one synth plugin to get three... XD But then again I mostly got 7 for the Piano, I wanted that, and for $50 more at the time got the whole thing, so it's a bit harder of a sell for me to go to 8, I guess.
