Thank you for the video Barb, it’s right on time! I am constructing a combination “Hanging Garden/Bird Mobile”…. … that’s what I’m calling it. 🤷🏻♀️😅 I’m trying to give the birds an appearance of feathers using wire and decorative ordering …. this your decorative soldering videos are a much needed help. If I don’t mess it up too bad, I’ll send it in to the next Viewer Showcase. (🫣) Again, thank you for your time, and have a Great Day!!❤️

Thank you for sharing your struggles as well! Ive seen videos of people using the pearls along the outer edges of suncatchers and on the corner seams of 3d flowers/boxes

Thank you for sharing your struggles along with your successes. I recently tried the pearl technique and struggled with it and my eyesight is just fine. LOL I need more practice. And I love using your ingenuity to come up with a neat center for the starfish. Thank you for all you and Ed do to share your knowledge!

Hey:) Thankyou for great instruction:) when you say “turn your iron down to x %” are you able to please provide a temperature or temperature range in either celcius or Fahrenheit?
@ARTyRV5 ай бұрын
What temperture do you normally solder at?
@AliceWilliams-f7p5 ай бұрын
Thanks for a really prompt reply:) For beaded edges, a lower temp - I think it’s maybe 320 or 375 or something. (I work in celcius as a rule but I just know the setting position on my Hakko iron!)
@ARTyRV5 ай бұрын
start at your regular temperature then Turn your iron down a notch at a time until you get to the perfect working temp for the bead you want
