I just got my box. For the third box I have gotten. Previously to getting the boxes, I bought colorful and nice crafts, candles, bowls etc. I liked from the store. They were bright colorful, and nicely done. Date syrup too, good stuff. I learned to be careful though, in the store, the pretty blue and purple vases pictured that fold out and you fill with water? Came, and were something else entirely I would never have bought. There was needlepoint white with nice colors small fabric pieces I got that can be turned into pillows. Nice nice nice. Last time, however, I was more than shocked at the black thick leather zipper pouch I got in my second box. I would never pick something that drab or thick, it had no design to it, it was appropriate for a car mechanic with greasy hands that needed a place to stick tools or something in while working. What in the world is that for? I am sorry, but that was what I thought immediately. Some of the food I could not eat. Bummer. And this time? The colors again were absolutely drab. A flat-colored dead looking brown, lifeless which meant black had been used in the dye mixture or something akin to it - very rough textured, very scratchy "pillow" with undefinable marks on it. Not pretty or useful. Someone is picking things that does not have good taste, the colors are browns and blacks, and they aren't useful. (Do they have "modern" taste? As an architect and artist, I can tell you that the original name for "modern" style is actually - no kidding - "Brutalism" from 1930's Germany, at least that's what they taught us at Georgia Tech and what that professor learned at Princeton! It felt very brutal, looking at that black "purse" or whatever it was. ) And then - for those of us taking care of our health - we eat Gundry. Many are. There is a ton of stuff we can have, honey, wine, dates, a number of nuts, stay away from some - it's not too hard to do - olive oil, dried fruits, you name it - but it seems you all pick things that we can't eat. On top of that, I have to be careful about which wheats I get - some European wheats work without the 6 times gluten we have here and now some does overseas . My massive family has issues with it now going down 4 generations.....and I don't eat cashews (part of the poison ivy family) nor lentils - this disrupts the intestines - also Gundry, A lot of this will be coming out soon with all the emphasis to clean up the food industry in the states, by the way. My word. In this last box, I love the wood ark of the covenant to build. That's nice. I absolutely love the seal - stellar and very well done!!!! thank you!!! - and would like to get more wax to use with it. How do we do that? It's nice. I am really into archaeology, loved the Jerusalem stone game in one of the boxes I got, nice. And the Inkwell is very nice. I will have to fill it with ink from the art store, try it. The Frankincense and Myrhh looked ok, If you can get bright and colorful, nice and happy products we can use - not drab - like nicely colored candles, the metal cutout of Jerusalem in the nice colors, the dishes you have gotten (bowls etc.) and Judaica, needlepoint, and sell it in the store, I would be buying them there. The paper cards were also again lifeless, black type face on stark white. What is it with this brutalism look you all are going for now? Better would be more archaeological items, small vases, small oil lamps, that kind of thing, tiny colorful mosaics in the boxes, like the floors, even larger objects like bistro tables with mosaics, all kinds of things - you might be able to sell a lot more at Artzabox through the store. Someone with good taste, likes color, and a really good knowledge of foods (if you continue getting them) needs to be picking the products. Sorry. I know some people think solid blacks and lifeless browns and stark whites, lifeless no colors are good, like a man cave, but no, it's just drab, and scratchy pillows are not useful and neither are thick black ugly pouches suitable for a mechanic's shop. Not all of us fix cars. Just my opinion.

Hey Thank you so much for your detailed feedback - I really appreciate it. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed items like the wood Ark of the Covenant and the seal! I understand your thoughts on the color choices and design. I believe the earth tones reflect the archaeological theme of this box well. I do look forward to how their Christmas box will look too! Your suggestions, like mosaics and archaeological replicas, are fantastic! I know some have been added in past boxes too. In regards to the additional wax for the seal. I am a fan of candles and plan on using some of the color waxes from burning candles in my seals. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

@@christiancamppro Well I hope you got a laugh out of it. My Dad was a neat nut, liked to work on cars off work, neat mechanic's tools large set of drawers, kept a very clean house, yard, great vegetable and flower gardens with lots of trees well kept, too (flew for the Air Force, Eastern, worked all over the world for Lockheed Ga and then FAA for a long time.) He would have liked that black pouch! Anyway, I hope some of that helps Artza in picking things. Some of the stuff is really good, and especially the crafts and stone and candles and metal and wood sculptural art with color, the dishes that are clay or the colorful salad bowls and platters that I have seen recently. Uplifting, fun, useful. Even pretty mezuzzahs, small candelabras, so much! Model tabernacles and maybe temples to make, the ark, Petra, diferent era houses and villages, like Bethlehem and Jericho and many others, etc. to buy from the store, after a smaller version was put in the box or like an aerial photo of such in an archaeological dig....even a booklet showing how such villages and cities work, picture books photos, drawings included. Wonder if anyone over there is doing something like that? Even simple versions for kids to see, even in coloring books. Things for small and us larger kids at heart. And larger pieces or more from the same artists we could buy in the store. There are lots of good and wonderful useful, historical things from there I am sure! Even detailed maps from different eras, books of photography of Israel, etc. What a store I would have! Too many ideas! Smiles!

@@CampbellArchitect You’ve got some awesome ideas, and I’m sure Artza could run with a few of them! Who knows, maybe we’ll see some of that cool stuff in future boxes!

I live in india and wish to have it. I am the only believer in christ as my parents and relatives are Hindu. I am facing persecution, humiliation and betrayal by parents, relatives and neighbors.

Hey, I just want to say that your faith and courage in the face of such challenges is inspiring. It takes strength to stand when those around you do not share your beliefs, but know that you aren’t alone. God sees your heart & perseverance. Stay strong, keep trusting in Him, and know that many are praying for you.

@@christiancamppro thank you for the motivation. My parents are worshipping elephant man ( it's festival in India and I don't speak that cartoon name bcoz our Lord doesn't like) but due to daily verbal abuse (sometimes beaten by parents and brother), I've no desire to live. I sm alone and have no friends. My parents are narcissist.
