Cool Video, I actually stayed at the Hyatt Place Christmas 2019/NewYears 2020. Can’t beat the price, just rent a car and your good to go. While researching for places to stay during that time is how I found your channel. You did a video review on it during it’s Grand Opening and been watching ever since. I’ll be back in Aruba end of July into August 👍🏻

Video cool…… why nobody’s show where is city bus stop in airport area ….. I am coming to Aruba and I don’t want to take Transfer bus…. All airports should have city bus stop …. Thank you
@LetsgowithHyro Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Unfortunately the public bus is not conveniently situated. It's across a double lane highway in front of the airport. I believe you are not allowed to cross the road there but some do it anyway.

Hi Hero! Thanks for the amazing walking video tour of the airport. Coming from one of the nearby islands in the Southern Caribbean, I normally check into the non-stop Departure terminal. I have found it to be not as hectic as the US Terminal. Then again my connecting flights to Curacao or Panama tend to leave early in the morning, or early to mid afternoon. I really liked that you included a quick tour of the Hyatt Place. On my last visit to Aruba in 2018( yeah I know its been a long time since my last visit) it was somewhere a ways from completion. I am giving it some serious consideration as a place to overnight before flying out of Aruba,closer proximity to the airport. Maybe you could do some videos on some of the hotels, especially the smaller ones around the capital city, low rise, high rise area etc. Keep up the great work with your videos. Looking forward to the next one.

Thank you so much Vallon! The Non-USA Departure terminal is indeed much less crowded even before 2020. It's no secret that our tourism market is heavily dependable on US visitors. As far as the Hyatt Place it's a small but beautiful property and apart from that it's usually much better priced than the beach resorts. I have been trying to get some hotels to review lately so be pending, I may have some in the coming weeks/months. Thanks for watching!

Great video Hyro! We are booked (air, hotel, rental car) for late September- so psyched! Really must commend Aruba for the infrastructure investment- you easily could rest on your laurels but the airport, Watty Vos, linear park, and San Nicolas improvements show that tourists are valued - gonna spend the summer getting in shape for some hiking if you want some company and that beer🍻
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Hello Jim, sorry for the super late reply here I've had so many comments this past week or two but I always try to get back to each and every one of them. The improvements are sure well received by both the locals and the visitors :-) As far as the hiking & a beer, absolutely, let me know!!!

Hi Hyro, Just wondering how much a taxi ride from the airport to The Tamarijn would cost? We will be there in less than two weeks. Would we need cash to pay or do they accept credit?
@LetsgowithHyro2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jennifer, from what I can see it should be around $26 and accept only cash.

Nice hope to get to Aruba in a month a question are the shops after security divided in the USA part and the non USA part or are they the same
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Hello Joyce thank you for your question, after the first security checkpoint there are some common shops, food & bar. After you clear the US Immigration and second security checkpoint there will be more at the gates. However, those are not common shops between the US and Non-US departures, they are separate.

Due to a slow down with United States customs at this airport, arrive at the airport five hours prior to boarding time. I am not exaggerating and you can thank me later.
@LetsgowithHyro3 жыл бұрын
Four (4) is def. a must these days... 5...I think you are right if you to experience the shops and dining before your flight + take things at a slower and safer pace.
Bit of advice... When going thru customs do not tell the official that you "declare war". They hate that. Plus a guy with really big hands will ruin not only your day but your colon.
