Good morning, we will be in Aruba this Sept 2023 and staying at this property. we booked a Jr. suite with ocean view. any must see's? we did book the sunset cruise and the bus tour.

Hi there. We really enjoyed our time on the beach and the pool. We rented a car to see the island but a bus tour is always good. Whatever you do, get to Baby Beach. It's so lovely! Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for your reply! I can't fully answer the question because I don't drink beer. If memory serves, I don't think I saw people with cans. There were a lot of plastic cups! Hope you have a good trip!

Dang! That's why I put it up. We didn't see ANY room tours for the Sea Front Suites and the website only has two pictures. That's something RIU could improve in their overall marketing. Hopefully, you'll be able to get back and book it later on. Cheers!

How has your experience been? I read online people have had issues with construction going on at the resort?

Thanks for checking in. The noise wasn't bad where we were. We were out of the room most days by 10:00am. It didn't wake us up. By the time we got back from the pool, beach or riding around, it was done. It is definitely going on though. Something to consider if you are staying at the West end of the resort. That's where they are doing refurbishing.

When we were there, there was a jacuzzi bath tub. They might have updated the room since then.

Hi there. Aruba is usually windy year round but it was definitely windy in May.

How was the food?

My wife and I enjoyed it. Don't go in thinking super gourmet but it was good. For lunch, I usually had a salad from the salad bar and something from the grill (burger, chicken). They did have pretty good jerk chicken one day. It's no roadside Jamaica, but it held it's own. Dinner had a wide variety depending on the buffet night. By the way, if you want to eat at a specialty restaurant, get there early. No reservations as of May 2021. You'll be shut out. We only ate at the Italian specialty once and the antipasti, lasagna and dessert were tasty.

When did you go? It is older but I wouldn't go straight to dump. Everyone has different experiences.
