Arunachal Pradesh: Polling officers brave tough terrain; trek for hours to deliver EVMs

The struggles for polling officers in Arunachal Pradesh finally came to an end on April 22 after two teams one from Awoka village and the other from Cheppe village in Dibang Valley district of the state reached the headquarters.
While the team from Awoka braved incessant rainfall during the polls and trekked for six hours while ensuring the protection of the EVMs, the team from Cheppe had to cross seven rivers during their 12-hour trek.
Sharing the videos on X formerly known as Twitter the Arunachal Pradesh Election Commission shared that with their arrival all Polling Teams of Dibang Valley have returned safely.
