His taankari is reminds me of how much I love the Kirana Gharana's gayaki every time I listen to it. Such sonorous aakars; the epitome of vocal masculinity. This Raag, in particular, merits nothing less that the most sonorous singing. Wow! I hope I get to see him in concert sometime soon.

A great classical singer. He has mastered his art to perfection and reached a level which others can only admire and fall in love with. This Bairagi just gives shivers down our spine. I have heard another similar rendition of this raga by Niyaz and Faiyaz Ahmed Khan with similar lightning fast taans but the overall effect was nowhere near to this. His intense mood, heart-crashing taans, total control of his music, praiseworthy support in Tabla and overall ambience..all were just awesome. This singing is just out of the world and what a singer he must be..best in our times surely with eyes closed..Namashkar!!!!
