You may disagree, but I really love meaningful stuff like that. .... SIDE NOTE: When selling DIYs the cliché word art ( Especially HOME signs with a wreath as the "O" or seasonal words like gather) pieces sell the fastest, take the least amount of time to make, are the cheapest to make AND make me the most profit. 🤣 People love their cutesy country styles!

I think I have broken all these don't do’s 🤣. Oh well I buy what I like but I will say it's important to know what your style is so you don't fall victim to the trendy stuff. I have a glam room and I definitely think I fell victim to the trend. Thank God I couldn't afford mirrored furniture. The other day I went to HomeGoods and I had to fight off buying Boho decor because it's trendy right now. I like it, I just don't want to fall into the trend trap again. I think neutral everything is a trend trap too. @mobellescorner97024 жыл бұрын
Ethnic Flavors Well the boho style has a lot of earth colors and materials. It makes the home feel homey and cultured with lots of layers. You’ll see a lot of wood or woven materials. The style has been around for forever but I’m noticing that my Home Goods at least is saturated with boho decor. Woven and fringe pillows etc. (I’ve been trying to shop for pillows) So I’m assuming that the decor style is really trendy right now. It’s so many boho pillows I want to purchase because they’re cute but it really doesn’t fit any of the decor in my home.

I said it on a comment on another video but you are a god send. I said it again. You deserve 2 million followers. I live in NYC and just got a luxe studio for the first time $1k off a month and now I have to decorate it. I bought my Article white modular sectional from a seller who only owned it for 6 months and then I have a velvet bed frame that ended up being the wrong tone of gray (with blueish hues) that looks best with muted pinks and bright whites and now I have to go a little more typical NYC Scandinavian/Glam. I am desperately looking for a rug and most rugs I see under $500 look too cheap and it hurts my eyes to look at them. I also don’t think a $1,000 8x10 West Elm rug is worth the money.

I had a fun day the other day. Due to Covid, I hadn't been shopping for a while. I was running some errands and drove by my local Home Goods. I honestly thought I'm going to go have an Arvin moment. I put on my mask 😷 and went all over the store. It was sooo much fun! Thank you for your videos. I enjoy them so much ❣️

About a month ago you ended up on my recommendation list (algorithm win ) which is weird because I’m not into (or rather I wasn’t *** Lol ) the home decor scene . But somehow I ended up watching and really loving , now I’m 10+ videos deep on your channel and I’ve been bit by the decorating bug ! I’ve been heavily inspired by your all your ideas, concepts , opinions etc . And I’m now obsessed with making my home look “chic “ while simultaneously being a sanctuary for myself and my family. I’m a hippie at heart so I’m SO happy that bohemian is so “in “ as far as decor goes . Really appreciate your insight and energy , you got a good eye and you’re hilarious . Two things I’d love to see you touch on in a future video : 1. Clutter , how you keep it at bay and keep your home looking so “chic” and “lux” while still being a human being and living in your home . Because I notice that’s a recurring thing with decorating enthusiasts, their homes always looks utterly perfect , not one item ever out of place. Tell me the secret to this 😏🙏🏻, because surely you’ve got lotsa STUFF . 2. Duvet and duvet covers. I only just recently (like a few days ago. Ha )learned that duvets apparently aren’t the sheet on top of the fitted sheet. From what i surmise, they seem similar to comforters (?) and it’s a thing to buy covers for them (?) honestly I’m so confused I’d seriously love a little Arvin presentation on this matter please . Thanks in advance! I can’t wait to embark on my journey of making my home LOOK fabulous .

Arvin, loving your channel. I’ve never been to a Home Goods but am going to have to make the trip now that I’ve seen some of what you have found - it’s 45 minutes away. I stopped by to “talk” rugs. I’ve lived all over the world and have made purchases while living in each country. The first big mistake I made was a small “silk” rug in China. Until I moved to India and did my research I didn’t realize what garbage that rug was and it eventually made its way to Goodwill. Not only was it not hand made, but the Persian (style) are not woven, they are hand knotted. The woven rugs are tribal rugs. I bought one but it is a totally different look and feel. I purchased 12 “Persian” rugs, all hand knotted silk-on-silk at 1000 knots per square inch. They were all made in Kashmir, not Persia/Iran, but are beautiful and should last for centuries. You can tell a hand knotted rug by turning it over and it looks exactly the same as the right side, but without the nap and are many thousands of dollars. So while the rugs you have shown are lovely pieces, from this side of the camera they look machine woven to me. Maybe I will think differently when I make it up to Home Hoods and look in person, but from what I’ve seen at Pottery Barn and RH, they are not hand knotted. That’s not to say they are not good, I was just lucky to be an expat in the land of rugs and rubies so I indulged. I don’t mean to offend, I just wanted to try and explain, at least what I know.

I just discovered you yesterday!! I have a sign that says "IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL" It brings me pure joy when I look at it, so we will never part. I also like fake lamb's ear and other fake greenery in small doses. I have a real philodendron named Clementine who I talk to. to keep her healthy. I also have a cat scratched coffee table that will be updated when they are gone, because replacing it now is blowing money into the wind!! Arvin I love intermingling your taste with mine, and that makes it uniquely my own...cute outfit!! hugs!!

Sooo i found your channel around three days ago and i am watching your vids nonstop. I am from turkey and i am really into design and i heard you talking about traditional turkish rugs and designs of them and honestly bc i am turkish i never gave a thought about them until now. As long as I can remember we had them in our house and considering i am 22 shows how durable they are. I am not the biggest fan of them bc i think i am so used to them and every house has them that i like modern rugs more but u made me realize how beautiful the designs are as well. I just know if you ever come to turkey ur gonna live your dream rug moment!

If you love farmhouse, just keep a few pie es & find a way to incorporate it into your "new look". Example: An antique farmhouse pitcher would look great with a mixture of simple, white/clear, & patterned & drinking glasses that all had a similar shape, in my opinion.

Keep them and revamp them! When we first got our home, the style was way different (8 years ago). I have pots, curtains, dishes, etc now that I can spray painting and juhj up.
