I m shocked to see the people defending TT, masooma and brides father. How can we forget that if second marriage is allowed in islam but it has many factors that husband dont cheat or unfairly treat his first wife or childern. People are forgetting that writer showed an extraordinary bond between moosa and his dad. TT barely gave them any time to recover from the trauma of his betrayal. Intial reaction of moosa and Reham was absolutely natural but TT changed so quickly and didn’t even them chance to recover from intial and kept giving them one shock after other that sensitive person like moosa who was so depressed on his friend’s dad’s second wedding couldn’t have react any different.Under ideal conditions even if masooma was a good person and there was some valid reason for second marriage even still a father should know their child better and behave accordingly to them. After one episode of remorse TT got so much changed as if he didn’t even know his first wife and son at all.
