Really appreciate your hard work Ary. Your channel is one of my favorites on KZbin now, your Blog rocks too! Anxiously waiting for further details like flying surface's hinging and techniques for a Fine finish and paint at the end. Do you also use foam rollers to apply the epoxy on the fiberglass cloth or squeegee Only? Do you think foam rolles are a bad idea?
@aryjg5 жыл бұрын
Thank you!! Problem is foam rollers will absorb a lot of the epoxy... so a lot of epoxy will go to waste (if you multiply the number of layups involved for a project like this). I've always used squeegee cards - super easy to use, they are cheap and easily disposable.

Still amazes me just using plain fiberglass not carbon fiber

Is there a part testing protocol? In other words, how do you know that a part you produced is good?
@bayenne5b7 жыл бұрын
Dmitri Mogiliver i know someone who made another kit plane and his tests (wing loading) were to be done when the whole craft was assembled

Not really. There are a few static load tests one can do.
