Very pleased to see the league treating potential expansion as something to promote/tour/build hoopla for, rather than keep under wraps and have everyone always guessing. Let's get communities across Canada riled up and pining for a franchise in this league, like American cities eventually did with MLS and now USL. Let's get big crowds out to our fairgrounds and community centre ball-fields, to show the business communities and politicians how excited Canadians are for local professional soccer. It's much easier to sell a concept when you have a live demonstration. Kelowna/Okanagan Valley is one of the fastest growing places in Canada. I think it would make a great location for a CPL club. And it would have 3 immediate rivals within 1 hour flight.

Southern New Brunswick, Moncton would be a great location to do this. They already have a decent stadium, better than 3 of the current CPL teams. Hosted the Women's World Cup. Fastest growing city in Canada.

I turned off cpl when they were kneeling during the anthem and they have “Pride Nights” . The CPL don’t know who their fans would be. They don’t do that crap in places like the Croatian league. I’ll follow them from afar. I’m born in Canada too !

Everything here is for marketing, hon. Many industries are realizing that these types of marketing are not effective anymore. They are going back and always trying to find a new one. Honestly, it annoys me even more when I think that even these advertisements are not real. They do not believe in them and just want to show a good face.
