This pedal has had a permanent home on my board for the last five years or so. It's sometimes referred to as "the poor man's OCD pedal" because it sounds VERY similar to the OCD. One thing I wish you had demo'd was the difference in headroom between the 9v and 18v switch positions. This switch is for the internal circuitry and has nothing to do with the power supply. In the 9v position, the tone gets pretty hot early on the dial while the 18v setting offers a little more room before heavy breakup. Love this pedal.

I've had this pedal a few months now & it is a phenomenol OD. Very slept on pedal & im kinna glad cuz it keeps the price down. 18v mode is where its at. Also low running it into my fuzz.

Great playing, as always! One of my favorite pedals - compares favorably with the Fulltone OCD and Mr Black JDS-50. I rotate the three of them in and out for that Marshally sound that Jonathan got.

@Neon Thunderbird They are both fantastic and do the same job perfectly. The gain and volume of each are set at pretty much the same levels, so they are the same amount of power. The Glove is darker sounding so I have the tone set at 3 o'clock with the tone shift on while the JDS tone setting is at noon to get the same sound. The Glove can be pretty dark with the tone shift off, so I always keep it on. I would say get the one you can get the best deal on, you'll be happy with either.

Excellent guitar solos in your demo and the pedal tone came across really well on this platform. Would have loved to hear the pedal with a Strat's single coil pickups as well as humbuckers in maybe a Les Paul just to get an idea of how the pedal sounds with different pickups besides the P90's/100's?
