This video proves that there is so much out there yet to discover. I just found you guys in the last few months, even after spending way too much time on YT and RV YT for a couple years. I'm so glad I found you! Of the channels you discuss here, the only channels I had previously seen were: Hanks(only recently discovered); Deal Guy (in small doses; entertaining, but an acquired taste); CheapRVLiving (once in a while).

I couldn't agree more with this video! I too have watched Adam the Woo and Jacob The Carpetbagger for many years. His videos that he has made have actually brought me to tears at times. Jacob is so raw and honest with his channel. He brought up once about being diagnosed with Autism trying to explain himself so the bullies would leave him be. It was the saddest thing I had ever heard! People can be so incredibly cruel. I love his rollercoaster riding. It makes me laugh all of the time. I started watching Robert a few years ago. I reached out to him because I saw in his older videos he towed with a Sorento ( we had one at the time) and wanted his thoughts on it. He was so gracious and reached out to me and talked to me several times. He is a kind and generous man and I am beyond happy for him that he is so successful with his channel. There are so many other channels ( all of the ones you named for sure are included). But, a couple of others I really like .. Follow The Moon. They are the sweetest couple Doug and Kathy and their little dog Maggie. They have been around for ages. Another fun channel is Our Every Day Getaway. He makes me laugh.

We like the Hanks and LJMJ, as well as The Roaming Gomes. Some of the first channels I watched when I started researching full time RVing were RV Into Retirement (lots of practical advice as to budget, etc. Not a very active channel but they offer practical information); I found S&S and the RV Cats looking for info on traveling with cats. A very simple, humble couple who travel with 3 cats just sharing the every day life of RV Life.

I'm glad I found your channel. I also follow the first 2 that you mentioned and a couple more, but to be honest with you, sometimes I don't watch the entire episode. Being an RVer for almost 40 years, there isn't much interesting ( except the travel episodes ) for me. We will be retired in a couple years, and I ALWAYS like watching where people are going and the landscapes. We are so looking forward to traveling in our 36 ft 5th wheel. So far I like what I see on your channel ( I subscribed a couple days ago ) . I have often thought about having a channel, but it's the technical side of things that I can't understand. OH, and maybe just a bit on the shy side, unlike you Bob. Keep doing what you do.
@liferedesigned3 ай бұрын
Having a channel is fun but it is also a TON of work. You can overcome the shyness pretty easy, the technical side is not that hard to learn for simple videos. The part we warn everyone about is that as soon as you take off a bit - You need to have incredibly thick skin. :) Safe Travels

For starters, nothing says family love more than your children uprooting their lives to be closer to mom and dad, that alone is worth more than anything else in life. We do watch a couple of those channels that you mentioned, 1 we never never heard of but will definitely take a look. For me personally the honesty is the first thing I look for in a channel, which is why I watch every one of your videos, a lot of the monster size channels I just refuse to watch because I feel they only do videos for the money and fame and I don't feel that they bring any useful information to the channel. Stay happy and safe travels.

Another great video! Thank you. I started this RVing dream three years ago after my wife came home from a very stressful day at work and I suggested to her that we retire early, buy an RV and hit the road. And to my amazement, she said “let me think about it”. God willing, that day and our half-timer rv lifestyle should be here before the end of this year. One of the first channels I subscribed to, if not The first, was Traveling Robert. Then LJMJ and many of the other channels you mentioned, but I don’t know the meaning behind your necklaces and the A E T thing you mentioned. If you wouldn’t mind explaining them and the AET, I’d be appreciative. Safe travels.👍🏼😎

I agree with all your choices however I’ve watched Eric’s channel for a long time and recently found out very disturbing information. I really liked his videos but recently he did a video and was not truthful in fact lied for likes. As a nurse I was appalled at his dishonesty. I can ignore certain this but lying and being deceitful is not a good character trait and will not give him the views. There are several other issues. I’m disturbed at his views on women when not filming. In fact I’ve seen texts from him were he refers to a KZbinr who died of a brain timer as a “ C U Next Tuesday “. That talk as a woman is beyond offensive. I’m sure if I was unaware I’d still be watching but this I personally cannot support. I’m not saying this to change your mind on watching. If you like his content great. He’s not for me!

We don’t follow any people off channel. If you were to truly dig into most, your channel lineup would be empty. Everyone has an agenda, even the ones calling out others.
@davidwhitton90507 ай бұрын
Yes but nomadic fanatic has a terrible history of lies and scams, not to mention his use and attitude towards women. Then when you add his 6 years spent in jail for multiple felonies and his subsequent name change. I am all in favour of people making mistakes and starting afresh but Eric is still just plain dishonest. Like his fake falling off the roof story to get views and cash donations.
@liferedesigned7 ай бұрын
@@davidwhitton9050 So, a few things to note: Again, we don't follow anyone off camera as we simply do not care enough. Back to NF. As for Jail time, if it is factual - then he paid his debt to society with his jail time correct? Changing ones name is NOT a crime, I (Bob) have done it and have zero criminal history - As we have pointed out in numerous videos - FAKE life on youtube is a constant. The reality is nobody cares - there is a reason big channels are the way they are. Best advice we can give - if you don't like a channel, don't watch it. If parody & satire channels really disliked those channels that much, they wouldn't be talking about them - period. All the drama like this that gets posted has ZERO effect on the channel itself - Just grows a smaller channel a bit with an audience that only wants drama. Is Eric dishonest? Don't know, do I care? NOT IN THE LEAST. He is an easy mark and the subject of him has been beat to death. Want some real fun - watch the top channels in the RV segment and play the "Guess which ones are actually NOT full time but pretend to be" Funny how NOBODY covers that.

Thanks for the leads on some channels. We live Happily Ever Hanks and LJMJ. HOWEVER, I wonder your thoughts on Finding Our Someday. The quality and amazing production makes me wonder why they’re not up with the really big channels. All I can think is that they haven’t sacrificed the genuine part of YT and don’t pay for boosts, etc. They do tend to post a bit later than other channels, but I really like them, regardless! Take a gander if you haven’t already. They seem to be great mentors to Nate and Marissa as well. 🥰

We caught 1 or 2 videos but never went back as were don’t really enjoy over produced content. Seem like decent people but we prefer more authentic, raw content. Nothing like go-pro or cell phone shot content to make you feel like you are really there in the moment. Again, nothing wrong with them just not our style anymore. We still watch the ones on this list as we have been with them since the GoPro days and have been part of the transition- kind of hard to explain

Great video and actually its a coincidence I was just wondering this question the other day ! I have occasionally watched Travelling Robert - what a wonderful man to know. Less Junk More Journey - what an inspiration and what production values ! I don't often watch family rv adventures but they really are good to see and are like a positive hope for America ongoing, if that makes sense. I often mention them to others to watch. Seeing the girl run into a new place and throw her arms out and go 'wow', with all the amazing geographical diversity she sees and all the animals, I'm thinking what a fantastic, unique home schooling start / adventure she is being given. I'm glad you listed Nomadic Fanatic. I thought maybe you had turned away from him over some obvious criticisms that could be applied. End of the day I still stick with him. I'm actually a Patreon too. I love his content, his journey , which remember is from nothing and he depends on it, not having a floor of past career pensions and a lifetime of investment from professional life. Yet also, in his work that he does, his own professionalism has really grown. He makes a lot of effort and through this quirky business model of volunteerism online, manages to make a living from it. Glad to see you have good regard for him. RV Odd Couple have had an amazing personal journey. They too are an inspiration and also are another reassuring example for the future of the country. I like seeing culture and community being build like they are doing. You should see what they have been doing at their Thunder Canyon rv park base. A couple of aviation and train journey bloggers among the many. Jeb Brooks presents things the best and has great production values. Noel Philips, of England but now Texas, has in recent years come on in strides. He wears geekiness on his sleeve and does some interesting routes, planes, challenges, gets into comedic situations. He's incredible down to earth and human. So many politics and society channels I could mention, so many anti-establishment independent media ones, I could write pages of them. But I won't. My comment here is already becoming a book ! lol I'll just give you one wild card channel to know. It takes hours and hours of investment to get to understand the stuff he talks about. ........... his name is Daniel Liszt and his channel is, Dark Journalist.

@@liferedesigned They have been full time RV'ers in various rigs, learning along the way. Their marriage had its ups and downs but they worked through it and today are very solid. They have a kid who had problems. He was dangerously sick and could have died. The both had an underlying faith but these days it has really blossomed. That story alone is good to go into. They started up an RV park in Alabama, had a big offer for it during the explosion of rv interest around Covid, but said no and carried on developing the place. The community they have includes a lot of regulars and full timers who have a strong Christian faith among them. Recently they decided on an inspirational project to build a chapel on the edge of a lake within their grounds. A lake with water reflection of the now built chapel. The similarities with you guys are I think : Learning along the way with the full time rv lifestyle, concern over the country and society ( he conservative she liberal in origins but on a journey ), they take risks on KZbin speaking about that stuff, they come over with a great sense of authenticity, their religious faith was always a thing but has grown a lot and the live it in their deeds. I think you'll like them. Drop them a line to congratulate them on their chapel and tell them a cat in Scotland told you about them.

@liferedesigned3 ай бұрын
Hi Tom: Why would our opinion "obviously" have to change based on who someone is dating? We watch channels based on entertainment levels - we do not get involved in the drama of anyone's personal lives, Nor do we care what anyone does off camera. If you have such strong feelings for someone you don't know personally, we HIGHLY recommend simply not watching their content and move on to another channel.
