When you were talking and you said that about looking back at those specks, those were the nay sayers...I thought to myself in that moment man I've already reached Stars, my lovely wife, my beautiful children and my shining grandchildren are the universe to me and it's only going to get bigger because I broke the chains of this life, and gave them a new opportunity to reach for the stars. This hit me hard... my grandfather work in NASA as an engineer. He helped with the apollo missions all the way to 17 before he retired in the 1970's. It was his dream as a child to go to the moon. Even tho he never actually went to the moon he was in control of and built the craft that carried the astronauts to the moon. To this very day he still has all the blue prints of the rockets he built along with a piece of the moon (an actual moon rock) and a flag that was placed on the moon as well. Growing up in his house was like a museum, and his storys were endless...I am and will always will be so proud of my grandfathers achievements in his life. I'm also happy to say he is still on this earth today. One month away from his 85 birthday! Tom, I hope you read this. When I saw your video it brought back so many memories of my child hood. I want to thank you for that. My grandfather's motto in life was very close to the poster you saw in class. He would always tell me and I qoute... The guy from Married with children, I can't remember his name atm but is from Youngstown Ohio, he was on a documentary talking about growing up there and how they fit the cars with bomb detectors because car bombs "Youngstown Tune-ups" were so common.
