George was very self conscious he always thought he was nothing to look at , that is why he was sooooo extremely sexy, because he really was but had no clue lol. that is why i always say again and again that God was in an extremely good mood when He made George . George was asked in an interview on GMA for his 25 live tour , how did he still after all this time have such a huge female following and George said " you mean why do women seem to forget that i am gay ? i think it is because i write from a place that most straight men are afraid to write from and that really attracts women to me because i don't let my pride get in the way of my feelings when i write ." George couldn't understand why women , even though they knew he was gay, would still want him ...i am sorry but to me any woman in their right mind would be crazy to not want him !!! thanks again for the reaction , you never disappoint and i always love seeing you

Hello Loretta, What you said there was something not too many people (even fans) knew about George as a person & as a writer, performer, etc., etc., etc. Our wonderful George didn't let his ego affect him in anything he did. George was George & he knew all too well knew all about his ego, & said many times that the adoration of fans while touring only was about maybe 4% of his ego, so that wasn't really what got him out there. It was to FEEL. Really FEEL & let them see you won't perish because of It. This is what It's like to be a real human being. Be yourself, don't hide believing in order to love & be loved, you shouldn't be genuine. George was George, like him or not that's fine with him. In my opinion, that's sometimes the hardest lesson we need to learn. The only way you'll find love & happiness is within yourself. so love & take good care of yourself the rest will follow.

Loretta, I saw that interview on GMA. What a beautiful soul. Such an amazing talent and so humble. I for sure was drawn to him because of his extraordinary beautiful talent as a songwriter and vocalist. Of course I loved looking at him when he performed 😉. Can't deny that. No matter who he chose to love my devotion as a fan never wavered. In fact on this cold snowy afternoon I'm watching the 25 live concert. That was an unforgettable concert for me.

Psyche you hit the nail on the head. George’s kindness and beautiful soul jumps out at you when he sings.There’s something very honest and true about him. This is one of the reasons I love him so much. He was never dishonest to his fans. He was transparent and what a gift that was to his fans. On another note now that you mention how handsome he was. I remember reading some thing Melissa Etheridge had said after she met him. She praised his talent and said what a phenomenal songwriter and singer he was, but because he was extraordinarily gorgeous she felt that a lot of people couldn’t get past that beautiful face to really pay attention to his music. That certainly wasn’t me, I adore his music.

Most people do not realize just how much George Michael was loved by those inside the music industry. But not only loved for his singing and songwriting talent but seriously respected because of his epic battle against his former record label Sony, which he expressed in all those music videos in which he is absent. Everybody wanted to do duets with him for that reason alone, and then for sheer adoration.

Girl, you know my heart exactly. George was beautiful but even when we found out he was gay, it didn’t change my regard for him at all. I think it was his sweet sensitive soul that I connected with more than anything. I won’t lie tho…the man was FINE..geez, no getting around that. But when you learn his story of falling in love for the first time at 28 and then losing that love to an AIDS related illness after 6 months together, then losing his mom 3 after that, he was just desperately depressed. But out of that sadness came “Jesus To A Child and You Have Been Loved. His Mom Lesley attended the MTV Unplugged session where he sings in perfection I Can’t Make You Love Me and Star People as well as all his other songs. He says hi ti her from the stage and I felt that entire performance was for her. It was the last time she will see him sing live as she dies 3 months later. Yes, he made some mistakes. I honestly don’t think he ever got over losing Anselmo and his mom. And life is a heavy burden without someone to help carry the load. I pray he is happy now and that he is singing with the angels. Lucky angels! Thanks for the GM reactions!

Hey Psyche, I'm a little late-night, I'll never miss it. I've watched this many times& every time I think to myself, Boy, how I'd love to be in that clue. But, I'd have a heart attack & wouldn't be able to watch George. This is one of my favorite looks for George. You're again, how could any man be so Geogiious? The two of them are Fantastic together. You know always could sing with the best of the best& always come out on top of his game. Hell, he could never lose. Well my dear, Here's one that just came up on UTUBE. By Frank Eagle- KILLER/PAPA WAS A ROLLING STONE-VICTIMS.cover to cover. This is a snippet of a concert, one song runs into the next. It's about 12 min. Remember I told you about that video of George dancing that was less than a min. Wareing that salmon jacket, this is including that dancing video.
