I just wanna put some respect to the legend David Foster on piano. The man is a musician, composer, arranger, record producer and major music executive. He has won 16 Grammy Awards from 47 nominations. His influence & list of collaborations is never ending. He's either played on a track, written it, produced it, or been the one to sign the artist. ALWAYS a pleasure to see him playing music in videos. ❤✌🎵

I hear ya. But I have a love/hate thing re Foster. I like a lot of what he's done, especially his version of Carol of the Bells on his Christmas album. When that song comes on in the car, we blast it, and my husband and I are instantly conducting the orchestra!. And he has all the accomplishments listed above, as well. The "hate" part comes in when we get to the band Chicago; the band's sound was already beginning to change before Foster entered the picture, and the loss of Terry Kath only exacerbated the change, but David Foster's influence and drive toward "pop" hits was the final straw. It makes me sad (although I still love Chicago).

Jamel, it's been a little while since I've watched one of your videos (I don't know why), but this reminded me why I've many of them in the past...your great personality and humor, which instantly puts a smile on my face. I've loved the music of Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins for decades and I've watched this live video multiple times over the last 1-2 years because of the superb musicianship and the great interaction between everyone on the stage (Michael and Kenny have been friends and have written/played together for decades). When I first saw the video, one of my favorite parts was seeing the instant smile on the backup singers when Michael McDonald started singing. And who better to join them on stage then David Foster, the industry legend who produced and/or wrote and played on some of the biggest hits in the 80's.
