This is basically the song that made me discover Soutaisei Riron and it's the ED to Tatami Galaxy and its like my favorite. hhh I really really love this song

Tbh I don’t perceive it as herself. I think this is really a song about a holier-than-thou or good child syndrome girl that gets salty. Like she's done everything to be perfect ("an angel"), neglected her selfish desire to be loved by her crush, thinking they’d get together anyway since it’s common knowledge how great she is. Though she never herself steps down from her pedestal to show the guy she loves him. She just waits for him to realize HE loves her and they belong together. However boom dude goes his way and get together with another girl. And she can’t process why. There’s a dissonance in her beliefs. She doesn’t understand that reality is not a dichotomy. If some girl gets the man and she's left frustrated it doesn’t mean that said girl is evil. That her rival is not "a love thief" that robbed her of what was due. Basically this song is reality giving a slap in the face of the narrator. And though she is delulu, towards the end she acknowledges that perhaps her jealousy has corrupted her heart. Maybe she is no longer the good person she thought she was because she wishes her rival evil. She could be redeemed. However she chooses to go back to her vicious circle in the end because she says that "hell is awaiting" one of them and that she’ll give forgiveness to whoever that is. She’ll forgive them because this situation is actually an opportunity for her to be a martyr. Because finding it in yourself to forgive undeserving people who hurted you is what perfect angels do. But the truth is deep inside she tells us she forgives them because she is certain that God will send them to roast in hell anyway. So she’ll get her revenge without having to soil her perfect image.
