I love your very clear explanation of doing slices. In each step of your video it is clear what you are doing. And not to forget NI machine makes slicing even easier than the mpc. Anc clear OTC ia more than a sampler.

To create linked slices, you can always create a slice grid and move the slice points around. Ricky Tinez taught me this and it really sped up my workflow on the Octatrack.

Yeah that is definitely a valid way to slice but I find myself moving the slices once they're created so much that it's just easier to do it like how I've been doing it

This is incredible! Thank you for laying this all out. I don't think I ever really took the time to explore how slices worked with sampling, and so it just never clicked with the workflow. This makes me want to get an Octratrack because I like this methodical process of getting things set first.
