For the record, the solar cable in one end is MC4 and to the power station is XT60. They are not anderson cable.

Not knocking these devices, I'm actually going to get the smaller one...any issues in the future will more than likely not be with any of the LifePo4 batteries but the other components in the device. From my understanding, High Frequency inverters in general have a life expectancy of 2 to 2.5 years...the MOSFETs give up eventually, especially when using High power and/or with continues use, cheaper inverters are worse. Low Frequency inverters (good ones) are more expensive, bulkier and heavier so not used it seems in these although they last usually 4X longer. Not pushing inverters power beyond half load plus infrequent use of these inverters will greatly add to the longevity of these devices IMHO from inverter research. There are so many components in these devices that can expire early that the battery only plays a small role on the longevity of the overall device, so, although 10/15 or more years is feasible; how these devices are used is a Very important factor to be considered. Anyway...still Good though...as I stated, I'm not knocking them 👍

Hi Dan, good video, keep it up. Just to let you know the adapter on your solar panels are MC4 adapters, the anderson adapter is the part that plugs into the powerstation. 😊

Actually the other end was not an Anderson connector, it was an xt60 which is the most common type of connector for larger generators like the dabbson.

Thanks Dan, very informative. Concerning the parallel socket between the two AC 3 pin sockets, do you have any info about the type of socket that is? Or is it a bespoke socket unique to Dabbsson? Dabbsson don't currently have a parallel adaptor cable available for the UK market, but they told me one should be available end of this year. Just wondering if I could build my own cable although nervous of doing that as it would probably invalidate my warranty.
