I don't dislike the plastic interior but I do really dislike the absence of central armrest. This is for me a must be.

@@CarObsession Yes its much faster than the 1.4 golf it replaced. Cant believe a 1.0 engine could be so good
@ProBroOfficial11 ай бұрын
@@sam-dn9hr Do you still have your Arona? is reliability any good? I've recently bought 2021 Arona xcellence trim and i absolutely love it! Had 2019 clio and a MK5 golf 1.4. This one is so much quicker. Engines are getting smaller but much quicker

Is this all timing chain driven? Or is there a belt driven version?
@CarObsession2 жыл бұрын
Hi there, thanks for watching. I can confirm the engine timing is done with a belt as opposed to a chain. Service interval is every 5 years regardless of mileage.

What is the speed limit on that road ! He s driving quiet fast
@CarObsession5 жыл бұрын
Hi Mohamed, it's national speed limit, so 60mph. Thanks for watching.
@stephenblakey49139 ай бұрын
Driving fast is the british way son, in this world snooze ya lose. National speed limit country roads unlikely to find kids playing in the road so pedal to the metal. Sorry mohammed but stop nagging 😂😂

I would NOT buy a SEAT of any kind, I'm on my 3rd new SEAT in 6 years and I recently had an issue with my Ibiza Cupra where the drivers seat was rocking on it's internal mechanism. The car is just over 2 years old with 24,000 miles and SEAT do not want to know and will not repair it under warranty and say it's 'normal' yet all the showroom cars seats and the passenger seat are solid and don't rock. Never again will I buy a SEAT, the service is ZERO.

Don’t understand why anyone would buy this over an Ibiza. It’s not as attractive but is much more expensive.
@CarObsession6 жыл бұрын
It offers more space, plus we all know how crazy people are for SUVs these days...Thanks for watching, Chris.
@joe80ss6 жыл бұрын
More space but if you need more space just go for The Ateca otherwise stick to the Ibiza

What if you don't want a car as big as the Ateca though? Riddle me that ;) Thanks for watching Joe.

Car Obsession crossovers are a fad you’d stick to hatch backs if Ibiza to small go for the Leon lol
@CarObsession6 жыл бұрын
True, they may be a fad, but it's what the people want right now.

Too expensive! Cheap dashboard that looks like it's off the old Fiat Grand Punto
@CarObsession6 жыл бұрын
How much would you be willing to pay for it?
@dancooper20726 жыл бұрын
I was looking at getting the FR, but it was £2000 out of my price range, so I looked at a Peugeot 308 (whilst not interested at the time) the quality in the finish is remarkable (getting into BMW and Merc territory) and cheaper than the Ibiza, the driving mechanics have improved for Peugeot to rival VW cars too, plus the amount of tech on board is insane. Considering it's built to a price it should be as much as the Peugeot or cheaper.
@dancooper20726 жыл бұрын
I'd say the Seat Arona FR (been a SUV) should be around £13,500 and Ibiza should be £12,500. You're looking at 15,000 for Arona and £14,000 for Ibiza. Crazy
@CarObsession6 жыл бұрын
What spec 308 were you looking at?
@CarObsession6 жыл бұрын
I'll have to agree to disagree with you on that one as I think those prices would be too low. Take the cheap dash out of the equation and you've got a car that offers a good amount of technology, high levels of safety, a good amount of space, and a stylish car that's good to drive.
