As someone who grew up with metalcore I love how consistent AILD has stayed. People are allowed to feel about Tim however they want. I can understand people not wanting to support him but this dude has a knack for writing good metalcore music.

A few things. These people who say transphobic/misogynistic/racist crap should be gone. Maybe not forever. But it's more than fair for them to get criticized and removed from a band. A band is a business. If I had somsome in my band who did that crap, they would be gone. That only hurts the band. Of course some of these people who say bad things learn from it and change and that should be welcomed. And 99% of the time, people who do are welcomed back. Sadly that's just not what happens most of the time. These people just double down and start grifting and screaming "cancel culture." No, it's reprocussions. You are free to say as you wish. But doesn't mean you can say all you please and not he criticized. Secondly, if you put your hands on a woman and / or assault of any kind. Ita not "cancel culture" if you're put on blast. Again, that's reprocussions. And illegal. Now to this situation. I'll never support AILD. I'm only here because I have not heard a new song but do love this channel and thought I'd see what others are saying in the comments. And I know there are alot like me out there who refuse to listen anymore. And I'm with it. And when all this came out, he was blackballed. Basically everyone left the band and he was public enemy number one. Rightfully. The only people who supported him were those absurd people who legit don't care what one says or does. And the more haneuous the thing the more they love it because they are contrarians. And a thing about this situation, he did his time. He went to prison. Doesn't mean I support him. But he did do his time. That does count for something and he does have every right to do whatever he pleases. As long as it is not illegal.

Agreed. The dude should never be allowed back into the limelight and should live out the rest of his pathetic days in silent obscurity. Bigoted views can be forgiven because people can change and our opinions are just that. Opinions. However, literally trying to take someone's life is an entire other story. It's baffling that people think he's somehow absolved of his wrongdoing because he did his time in prison.
