Ah I had this CD when it released and my twin used to play the guitar with his amp cranked to max and I had no mic at the time and would just scream as loud as I could with this playing in the background in an old CD player. These guys were at my first warped tour show and it was off the chain. At first, I was actually afraid of their sound. It was so big and powerful. The crowd was insane. I couldn't believe what I was experiencing. It was unreal. This quarantine got me listening to all my old records. And this is one of them.

Every metalcore fan likes praising Killswitch Engage. But I can't seem to like them even slightly as much as this band. Their breakdowns are among the best in modern metalcore, and their vocals hit much harder. So grateful they're back together

Not knocking you opinion but I am both a Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying Fan and supporter. Killswitch still has powerful lyrics and the vocalist has improved his sound a lot. Killswitch was basically one the founding father bands of the metalcore scene. I feel AILD is right there together with them. Id love to see both bands tour together.
@ptr_does_music70425 жыл бұрын
@@RebelGaming4U i mean of course I understand that they had a founding role for modern metalcore. But I never was the biggest fan of Howard's vocals, and the music, idk, never intrigued me that much. I like Jesse though. Still if you like KSE, more power to you man.

But overall the word meaningless is probably the word AILD was going for and it means “without any meaning”
