You’ve got quite a few of the ones I have.😁. I used to have a Safari which I sold in India back in the mid 90s, I was absolutely brassic. Always regretted it as it’s one of my favourites and you just never see them now, but happily, I discovered the German Army ones which are pretty much an exact copy, I also have two, one a Victorinox, and one, I forget the exact manufacturer, it’s an original though, not a reproduction, something like AML or similar. Never got any of the newer ones as I didn’t like the serrated blade. I have a Farmer which I got because of the thicker blade. My pride and joy is a Champion with the long file, never used- my father bought it and kept it in his caravan until his death in 2008. Also have a modern Champ, rather fancy a mini Alox Champ some day. I have thought about starting a knife channel my self, I don’t know exactly how many I have, it must be over 100 probably more. I have about 40 or so sheath knives of various types and way more folders ranging from ones that were my grandfather’s, and I think, his father’s, going back to the late 1800s, ones a beauty with horn slabs, a various blades, and it even still has a pair of tweezers although, sadly the tooth pick is missing, none of the blades are worn, it dates to about 1890s. Have some of my father’s and even still have my first ever knife, given me age 6, back in 1971!😁

You forgot to mention that the lock out blade knife is illegal in the uk
@leerobinson870924 күн бұрын
So is a kitchen knife. But in your own house it's fine.
@BG-rf1mx23 күн бұрын
Yes and no. You're right to say that a locking knife falls outside the folding pocket knife exception in S 139 Criminal Justice Act 1988 but even that section provides for lawful carry if for use at work etc or with 'good reason or lawful authority'. So if you're going on a camping trip or e.g. fishing then this might provide 'good reason' for carrying the knife on that specific occasion but yes EDC is a no no.
@jim.m7522 күн бұрын
Thankfully they are not actually illegal in the UK, just prohibited in public places without a good reason. Same for fixed blades too
@MrPlownds2619 күн бұрын
If you have a good reason to carry one and maybe keep it at the bottom of your bag you should be O.K.Just don't take it to the pub.
