As Naked as Possible: A Spacer Bubble Frequency Test

We travelled to what is a truly quiet acoustic environment - a salt pan on the edge of the desert - to test out the frequency transparency of our Spacer Bubble base.

Sounds very good with just the spacer bubble and no fur. How much wind resistance can you get without the fur on average?

Hi Michael, the mesh base is designed to remove light wind noise, ideal for indoor boom swinging and very light winds. If you are outdoors in medium or stronger winds, you will need to use either the short- or long-haired fur cover. It's always going to be a compromise depending on yoyur environment, but you've hit the nail on the head with your question: the less fur you use the better it sounds.
