I know it's been a few months and the situation may have changed, but I'd still like to suggest a rice cooker. They cook pasta and rice really well without a stove or much power and also work great for steamed foods, vegetables, mashed potatoes, frozen ravioli, etc. Medium to high quality ones aren't too expensive and really help especially with fresher and crisper foods that microwaves make shriveled or soggy.

I've never ate pink pork. I think of I tried to serve anyone in my family that they would have been very upset. I'd rather not risk getting trichinosis. Granted the pink in the middle probably keeps the meat much more moist.

You eat your steaks gray all the way through as well? (and if you say yes, we're done here, because you have _no_ sense of how to cook.) The pink in the middle of that pork is the same as the pink in the middle of a medium-cooked steak, and a medium doneness is all that you need to kill pathogens.

While we didn’t show this in the video, that test was done. The end product was the same but in the larger convection oven it took a lot more time, about 8 minutes. This is purely anecdotal but I believe the small size of the AirFryer coupled with the huge fan they have does promote faster, more direct cooking.
