I agree with Blaze here, how much better these changes make things look, I'm not a builder. I cant really build my own structures. I see these changes in place on other channels builds. Even if you dont play on PC version you can make these changes slowly overtime to the area you build in on console versions. I think following these small changes would contribute nicely to the overall environment you build in. Thanks for sharing, educational and very informative.

The underwater grass is not necessarily a flaw. It can be used to denote a mossy bottom to a stream or lake.

This was really well done. Some of these I sort of knew about already, but stuff like the flags thing I had never really given much thought to. Then again I keep my clouds off to help improve performance and because I use texture packs and they never blend in well, so the wind could be blowing in any direction but the idea of keeping them uniform in direction never really occurred to me. I'd love to see more of these types of things from you in the future for sure!

I'm not quite sure if OCD is or is not the correct term to use here. You may be speaking about OCPD or rather just the desire to make things neat, but that in itself isn't necessarily OCD. In addition, you can be obsessive or compulsive, but not to the extent that of having a disorder. OCD is a crippling psychological disorder, one that two of my close friends are heavily medicated to even survive with, and overuse of the term is making them seem less credible. If you really have been diagnosed with this disorder, I'm incredibly sorry for my misunderstanding, but otherwise I suggest you to research this topic farther. You may find it interesting and learn a lot!

Ein Format, welches die Commnunity mit einbindet würde mir auch sehr gefallen. Wie z.B. ein Videoreihe, in dem du dir erbautes von Abonnenten ansiehst und sie verbesserst und vielleicht bewertest. As nice as always :3 Though these are things that I'm doing already on a regular basis. One thing to add: It might not be logical (to some people) but if you build stuff e.G a stone wall, extend the wall like 1-2 blocks into the ground. I hate to thing that all the stuff just stands on plaine dirt or sand. Cheers mate

about the wind thing: different layers of air have different winds blowing in different direction. it's enough if each "micro climate" is consistent in and of itself

My family has a house on a lake that has a water level that changes a lot. This makes it possible for the grass to grow on the exposed mud and then be submerged again. If someone is building with a place with changing water levels the grass in the water may be a good idea.

Most of this makes sense... At least one with an exception... grass underwater bit, as one pond I actually wanted it to be that way to give a more greener algae look to it beyond a lillypad. Not really meant for drinking water, but the only exception I personally would do. And such is case by case basis. Other than that I have to agree for the most part. :D

I like to fix these things when I build, when theres dirt showing under a wall I build, I make something like a support under it or another smaller wall design maybe if it's big enough of a dirt thingy.

Just wondering Madness, but what graphics card are you using to render your videos? It seems as Fraps, or whatever capture device you're using, is making your Minecraft game lag while moving. It might be time for a computer upgrade. =)

Hey Madness64 have you seen the Landmark-EQ beta? Its like minecraft if minecraft was made with a actual budget you should try it out beacuse it allows a much higher level of detail then minecraft! (note. i have nothing against minecraft i have actually played it like nonstop since beta 1.6 but Landmark is basically the next minecraft)

The flags one. Wouldn't it makes sense that the flags are flying the opposite direction similar to when you fly a kite, you run and the kite is behind you and the tail is flying the opposite direction? I totally agree with you though about the castle flag concept.

Well i can agree with some things, but at some point you seem a bit picky (wagon). But what botheres me the most is your ship. There is obviously much wind in the sails which means: Wind from south. But you pointed the flags from east to west. I'm not a sailor but i don't think the sail would be that blown up if the wind comes from east. Oh, and vanilla trees are an absolute crime. :c No hate, but I recommend to reconsider some things.

In my opinion the "randomazation" in walls just looks wrong.. it's good for collapsed or old walls, maybe for old huts - but it doesn't fit to a regular house. (and it doesn't makes sence for a wooden wall to miss a corner block of a plank) Another thing I don't really like are these kinda random cobblestonewalls + fences in the corners of the big bars, they doesn't have any sence..
