For metal you can farm metal nodes in the water in the back of hard underwater with the dunky. Plus the stone rocks in there have the buffed resource

Better spot for farming cryatal is the easy under water cave with a dunky. About 10 foundations away from where you showed the dunky metal farm you will see MASSIVE clusters of crystals. Since its under water you can access the pnes on the walls and ceiling easier than you can in pack cave

If you do fight alpha tusos and mosas to get black pearls, check your creature's inventories after each kill, especially if using a group of tames. Since they're so heavy, they usually won't get picked up and get left behind in a death cache instead. The death caches are incredibly hard to spot underwater, so you usually need to take extra time to look for them.

alpha tribe from my server used to have a quetz plat with ramps going down to the water with like 5 ankys and they'd go up and down the river. also, if you have two people, or just patience with following dinos, just use theri to harvest wood and store it on cast/mammoth

You should make an updated video on this since a few things have changed. Rhynios may not be better than argys now due to speed nerf. Pack crystals got nerfed. Also theri in redwoods with another person using a tek suit is the best now I feel like.

the beaver gets more as well as half weight still not being bad, can be carried by an argy tho

@@scratterz beaver is hitting faster, but only getting 50 wood per hit. Mammoth hits slower, but gets about 110 wood per hit with spacebar attack. (on 1x) Also if you spacebar attack with the mammoth whilst picked with the rhynio, it does the left click animation and gives you less wood per hit than you get if you drop the mammoth and spacebar on the ground. Apparently power Therizino gets more per hit, but it doesn't have weight reduction so you overweight the rhynio before getting slot capped, so people are using multiple Theris on a raft in the swamp. All in all the beaver & mammoth are both getting the same amount of wood per redwoods tree (about 1200), so I suppose it just matters which one harvests the full tree quicker, but it's only shaving a few seconds off in any case. Also it's easy to torpor the mammoth out by spamming spacebar.

Use the frog for black pearls it has boosted rates for black pearls you can get 16 per bug

There are metal underwater nodes you can get with the dunky only found in easy underwater. Sadly tribes like building in there resulting in them not spawning anymore

For wood use 2 people, mammoth and Rhynia - and drop the mammoth in top of the three - then you kill three in two stomps rather than alot of hits

Just updated description and video. I don't know if "patched" is the word to use. I would say it's nerfed. Still works but gives you WAY less ressurces. Like a few 1000 stone / crystal within seconds but not slotcaps anymore. Thanks for the information!

While these are definitely good methods to farm resources, how are you supposed to bring them back to your base? Especially the ones in the cave at the end. Just farming trees and rocks next to your base seems much more time efficient than flying to the redwood, ocean, caves,... and than back while being overweight

Nope it's not. Just tested. In swamp you are faster getting slotcapped with fiber and berries. Besides that most tribes will fully build their pack caves so no respawning ressources in there. But it's definitly a good way to get fiber & berries too! (Very best is Broodmother Arena btw)

Dislike for using console commands. They are literally cheats and the only reason you're getting away with it is because wildcard are too busy or don't care about people cheating in their multiplayer game.

It's not cheating at all if it is accessible in ARKs console itself. Most of the players are using them to get over 30 fps for a smooth gaming experience. But I am with you. I would absolutly support switching them off from WC. At least those ones that let you remove all trees, stones, bushes etc.

@scratterz if you think that accessing the games fucking COMMAND CONSOLE and adding CODE to DISABLE graphical effects that have a huge impact on visibility and readability of the game isn't cheating, then you are seriously misguided. You should try to play ANY other multiplayer game with PvP in it and see how long you last using console commands before getting fucking banned. The command console should not be accessible to anybody who doesn't have admin rights in the first place outside of Singleplayer. Any changes that affect graphical quality and readability in the game should be in the graphics settings. Anything outside of those setting should be inaccessible to player in multiplayer and bannable.

I hope they will close console commands too for everyone ASAP. But a cheater is a person who behaves dishonestly in order to gain an advantage. @scratterz but they aren't public in the samd way graphics settings are. You need to actively search for them online or watch Videos telling them to you. Many people don't engage in the community like that. Also do console players even have access to the command console? Because if they didn't it would completely break your argument with cross play enabled. Ultimately the only reason why it's technically not cheating is the fact that it still works and it's not enforced. Yet the implications of how these things are achieved and how they impact gameplay especially vs players who don't use them. So if it's not technically cheating, it's effectively cheating.

personally I think best oil method is having 2-3 dung beetles at your base making it passively. lol right now i get like 1k per day doing nothing
