Harvard doesn't ask math questions at its interviews. And, really, this is Algebra I.

Doesn't need a 10-minute video. Once you see k=5 is a root, do polynomial division to get the quadratic factor. Then either use the quadratic formula or you could complete the square: k^2 + 4k + 20 = 0 implies (k+2)^2 = -16. so k-2 = -4i, etc.
