This is the first time I see ashi uke techniques being demonstrated in a shotokan class. Last week I instinctively used a ashi uke and thought "I did some kind of Muay Thai technique". Thank you, Andre sensei, for sharing this video.

Such a great video! One of my favorites with Asai Shihan and Bertel Sensei. Asai Shihan's oizuki is like a truck and Bertel Sensei is so rooted to the ground he looks as strong as a building!
