Katsudon is really tasty, one of my favorite foods. I like to top it with nanami togarashi.

You mean 七味唐辛子　Shichimi togarashi. 七 is either nana or shichi but this case, it’s shichi.

Hi Yoshimi🙋🏻‍♀️ Katsudon is one of my favorites! I always dredge my pork in flour, egg, panko and then fry. I’ve never thought to skip the egg and make a batter with flour and water😲 I will definitely do this the next time I make this dish! You are so cute, especially when doing the taste test☺️ I just love your videos, thank you for sharing!

I have to admit this is my ultimate comfort meal! ❤ The only thing I do differently is that I bake my pork at 400F for 20 min. A little bit healthier but just as yummy 😋. I just love your Mmmmm when you taste the dish. So cute!

Love this. Im having trouble finding Dashi in Australia (I’m truly not sure what I’m looking for). Is “bonito” the same thing.. that’s what comes up when I Google it.
