One full battery charge is 1 charging cycle. With the provided range even if you do 10 cycles in a month (~3500 Kms per month running), that means 120 cycles a year and 1200 cycles in 10 years. I remember seeing those lithium ion batteries have 2000-3000 charge cycles as their good health. So I guess the battery should be healthy for 10-15 years. Additionally companies do provide warranty (8 years by tata) on batteries.

I recently purchased ignis. So, I did a lot of study in this price segment. In fact initially I was planning to purchase Amt version. If safety is primary concern go for tiago amt. Need Good engine refinement then go for nios magma Amt, santro amt, ignis zeta amt, wagon r amt, celerio amt. If you want best refinement in amt with very little zerks while autosifting the gears go for nios amt or santro amt. Ignis amt is also good in terms of price range ( delta amt is even cheaper than zeta amt ), powerful engine with 3 star safety rating. If you amt with best ever mileage then celerio amt @ 26.6 kmpl. More space inside the car with more boot space, mileage - Wagon r amt

Hyundai has best Amt, very little zerks are felt in gear shift, Hyundai has better interiors, find more boot space in aura in other hand you have dzire amt which is more fuel efficient, amt is also good. Both are in same price segment. If you want smooth automatic experience then put another 70k for Honda amaze CVT. You will definitely love it.

Why do companies sell lower capacity battery cars in India and claim range higher than what their international Long range variants? MG has a 72 KWh battery capacity vehicle with a claimed range of 273 miles(437 km). Here in India for a 50 Kwh battery capacity vehicle they are claiming 461 km. How come?

Acchha khasa ground clearance, jhoot Bolney ki bhi Hadd honi chaiye. It's a mere 177 mm. By what standards it's acchha khasa I don't understand. Battery pack is lower than the vehicle chassis which is very risky on bad roads and unscientific speed breakers.
