I was looking for tutorial like this because i had a hard time combining the shake and the hitting. Still this is my first day with the kashaka. I like your lessons.

What are peoples thought on plastic cas cas alternatives? I cant seem to find any adjustable organic ones in the uk, im concerned that that clack when they hit its going to sound a bit average. Can anyone recommend where to purchase in the UK. Cheers!!!

I really love having a variety, including plastic ones. Some of them sound great. It's hard to find adjustable organic ones, because it's not the traditional way of building them in West Africa, so I only know of sellers in Japan, Argentina, Brazil... Good luck and hope you enjoy my online course 🙏

Thank you, Inbar for your wonderful and clear tutorials! Maybe it is not an important detail but should you be able to actually hold the string/rope between the fingers? Or should it slide almost uncontrollable between them? I cannot find the answer in many videos I watched so far. Thank you

Hi, thank you, happy that this is helpful. Did you check out my entire course? It's an extremely friendly price and is the perfect way to learn from beginning to high level. I'm not sure I understand your question, maybe you can try to rephrase it?

@@inbar.heyman Thank you! I will definitely check it out. My question was about the string/rope connecting the balls. I see the variety of them in numerous videos on youtube and in the shops. People often discuss the difference in materials and sizes of the balls, how to adjust the string/rope but never the thickness of the string/rope. Should the string be thick enough so I could hold it between the fingers? Because in my case, the string slides freely and uncontrollably between the fingers and that makes it harder (if possible) to control the position of the "inside ball". Does it make any sense? Thank you!

Hi, thank you for the lesson! Which size is your asalato, please? Mine is 4,5 cm in diameter (that should be a small size) and my hand is large 8,5cm, but I can't hide the balls in the hand as you do.
