Everyone feels is the same. I assure you that you're the only one who doesn't like your voice 😊 everyone else thinks your voice is normal (since they've never heard what _you_ think your voice sounds like in your head). You spend your whole life hearing yourself one way and then all of a sudden a recording shows you a different voice. It sounds absurd and weird to us just because of how different it is 😄

I don't really like my voice but I've learned to change the way I talk/sound. As someone who is familiar with both Galaxy & iPhones I can tell you right now, galaxy phones do you not justice when listening to the playback of your own voice. Their microphones kinda suck. Try this test with an iPhone or apple products & the difference is very apparent. I prefer to speak over the phone with an iPhone rather than my Note 5.

I actually lower my voice when I want to sound attractive. It makes me feel more "stern" (for lack of a better word) and more sure of myself and so I feel more confident. I've also noticed that people tend to be more receptive when I speak in a lower tone and more slowly.

I actually think that there are different standards in regards to attractiveness in the human voice. For example, I cannot stand Nonon Jakuzure's voice from Kill La Kill but one of my best friends think it's "pure sex." That same man has one of the sexiest voices I know of short of Jennifer Hale and yet he too cringes when he hears his voice. He was actually really surprised when myself and several others commented on how hot his voice was to us. Similarly, KZbinr Airelan (forget how to spell it) has a voice I consider hot and yet many others find her voice annoying. Though most of can agree that Jennifer Hale and Brandon Keener both have very sexy voices. As far as my own goes? Sounds evil and malicious to me, even though I try to be as nice as possible, I sound like a douchebag on recording. Thankfully no one else agrees but I sound like an arrogant snob which really bothers me because I try so hard to not be like that :(

I hate her and Ryuko's voice too. I REALLY despise my own because it's almost the Barry White type deep. I do love Mila Kunis' and Angelina Jolie's voices.

In primary school, we had a class presentation and I had to record myself reading a speech about the environment. In the assembly my friends bit came first. When I started speaking in the video, my teacher had to drastically lower the volume of my voice so as not to damage the hearing of the audience due to the sheer pitch of young me's voice. Since that day i have never let anyone else record my voice.

Growing up, I didn't like my voice at all. I thought i sounded like a boy. As an adult, I really like it. It's very pretty and I've received many compliments on it. I speak for a living, and make a conscious effort not to use upspeak or vocal fry. I keep my throat open, which helps to create a clear sound. It sounds very feminine without being squeaky or too high pitched.

You have to get a wood quality microphone to hear your real voice bad ones change it up a bit. And yes even with good microphones your voice will still sound annoying

I hate the way I sound when I record my voice. My sister says that she thinks it's cool but when I asked her why she said, ''Because I think it's cool'' and... that kind of broke me. She didn't really mean it. Today I just tried to sing meanwhile I was recording and tears fell over my eyes. I sounded worst than ever, I didn't sound like myself. When I made high notes I sounded like those memes with people singing songs like ''Baby'' badly on purpose and I just couldn't take it seriously anymore. I wonder how many people have lied to me about thinking that my voice is good. I think I'm just not going to talk anymore. I'll bring a book to school everyday and I will hide somewhere in the playground so my friends can't find me. I don't see a good future in myself. I can't believe you're still here, did you read all of that? Thank you, it's just amazing how someone in the internet prefers to waste their time into reading someone else's story. Thank you very much. I also made this like a pin so I can know if my voice changes in the future so I can know for how long I had this voice.
