This is very moving for me, well done. As was said, we are subject to the laws of nature, and to the coming and going of seasons, of life, death, and rebirth. Much like a long winter, a tree tosses its leaves, and recluses itself within itself for the coming of spring. Unfortunately the tree died, but come spring, a sapling grew from its remains. The previous tree helps the sapling grow, not directly, but enough so that it may thrive.
