About This Video:
Deep snow solo camping into the wilderness during a storm and snowfall.
I make a survival shelter from snow, several poles and a regular tarp.
I'm cooking steak and chips for dinner on the multi-fuel burner, organize the fire on a metal mesh.
Storm and snowfall begin closer to night.
In the morning it is very warm, the snow is melting on the trees.
I make aromatic hot tea and pancakes.

Indeed, hammock and tent. Last trip was -1f/-18c. Was chasing a single digit low when I hit the negatives. While fun weather is serious threat at that temp. I find I enjoy 20’s best for fun and comfort. Now to camp like this. Pure bushcamp. Never done it. I need to try!

I love the way you leaned all the roof wood up under a large evergreen at the end of the video. I imagined either you would go to the same spot again....or that someone else might be lost and would make a happy discovery of ready material for a survival shelter. The snow and the trees and your ability to make a quick home for a night are calming and inspiring. Also your camera work and editing are superb. Thank so much.
