Sleeping platform is ingenious! Resin is also a good glue by melting over low fire add small amounts of charcoal not to much or it gets brittle . I keep it in a can and just melt whenever I need some .it's also good for first aid on bruises or cuts lip balm for chapped lips upset stomach many recipes from indigenous tribes online from Google search or KZbin. Also can make fairly long lasting torches or candles for light at night.i also use it as a scent to cover my scent on hunting clothes put amount with branches and needles from same tree into a sack and place all clothes for hunting inside sack loosely close sack up for few days return clothes after days hunt for next day . Unless your on multiple days camping hunt obviously then just rub resin on various spots on clothes few times while out. I've literally had deer boars other game come right by my stand on trails without scenting me. Good video I like your style no excessive explanation just good locals with practical camp setup. Look forward to next upload.from new hampshire United States America

What a peaceful retreat! And I too pick resin whenever I can. I love the smell of it. Sometimes I even eat a bit of it, it's antibacterial, but mostly carry it in my pocket to remind me of the forest. Using it as fuel I never considered till I saw your videos. It has so many good uses...

@AsbjornOlsenBergBushcraft9 ай бұрын

impressive as always you figure yet another to way make a bed in the wild.. I guess you just "knew" the size logs you needed to support your w What were the "rocks "? that I think went into the fire? What was the light saw shinning into the back of your awning when sleeping? All the best to you always
@AsbjornOlsenBergBushcraft9 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot! I determined the size of the logs by eye and adjusted them to the location :) The “stones” that I threw into the fire were pieces of spruce resin. To quickly light a fire the first time and maintain a high temperature of raw wood 😉🔥 I illuminated the canopy with an LED flashlight, otherwise the video would have turned out too dark. Have a good day! 🙂🙌
