I bought a new Ascend 128T Yak Power kayak. My first impressions should be pretty clear once I am finally able to get into the seat. There will be many more videos on this military humvee of kayaks.

My son has one of these. He uses it to fish inshore and has it really tricked out. He has a trolling motor setup and the hull side anchor system. I call it his poor man’s center console. LOL He’s about 5’ 8" and it is very stable when uses the casting deck. He uses a Yeti soft cooler to help keep the center of gravity lower. He absolutely loves his wouldn’t trade seat for anything. That sure looks like a beautiful spot to try it out. Stay safe guys and keep these wonderful videos coming.

Poor man's center console is spot on! I'll be modding this soon, but before I do, I want to paddle it as for a while before I do anything to it. I can say for certain that a trolling motor is on my Amazon wishlist! Hey thanks for the encouragement, Steve!

I really like how Ascend styles their kayaks so that that they are not deep.

i love mine so much, it’s incredibly stable for me since i’m only 135 lbs. my favorite part of mine is the swivel seat

Flip the big hatch around so it opens up easier while sitting in the seat.

Roberts Bushcraft did not know that. I found a cooler that would fit in my back hatch and cut it down so the hatch lid would close.

Honestly I was surprised at how well it moved in the water. I'm using a 250cm paddle and that helps tremendously.

I really like the seat in there, all the kayaks I’ve used are basically the floor of the kayak and a backrest!!

That seat is top notch, Connor! After sitting in a seat, like you mention above, for an hour or so things get real sore real fast. This kayak is made to stand on and is very stable. Once we get a few months of paddling and camping I'll have a complete review on it, inside and out.
