When I first heard this song it was late at night I had been struggling to worm my way through the world of Xen for about 4 hours, I was weak, tired and low on ammo, but when this song came on it gave me the strength to push forward. It was a reminder that although the journey has been difficult I only need to go a little further. Black Mesa has been a part of my life for the past 6 years, it's been something that for the longest time has been left unfinished, but this song comes in to tell you that tonight's the night that it is finished, you only need to raise your crowbar one last time, better make it count.
Okay so I promise I'm not going to make a habit out of doing 'Half-Life' covers but I had planned to get this one done much closer to Questionable Ethics, but Life got the better of me and so it's coming out now. Covering this song was a blast! The whole thing has such a epic feeling that works perfectly in a metal style. Hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I did making it. Can't wait to hear what you think, and I will see you up ahead.

This would be just another example of how vibrant the world of Black Mesa is, little things like this, and other small interactions you have in the game just make everything feel so much more real. You are at ground zero of the world being changed forever, but at the same time, everyone here is human, and are terrified of what's happening. The military reflect that brilliantly in this as well. It really is a beautiful remake of HL1.

Are you willing to make a metal version of Sven Coop? (its the number 1 half life mod and its on steam!!). Be aware though that the main theme is something quite simple, but the old theme from when it wasn't on Steam was kept as a music track in the game (I believe they needed something more simple or perhaps due to creator right they replaced it, and its called Cyborg Blevo which is better imho)
