Thank you, I really appreciate your tutorial! I would suggest that if you are going to cut the Tab Positioning Guide to assist you to position the Indexing Tabs on the page; you should take a photo of the back where the Catechism Tab Location Guide CC PAR numbers are printed.

There is a Tab Location Guide that is provided by Ascension. It gives you exact pages where to place your tabs. I received the guide by email when I ordered my book and tabs together.

So I did not order them; but your video made it seem sensible and easy and while some were a bit of a challenge in terms of placement, you’ve enlightened that by emphasizing that it is all part of our journey in researching for ourselves what would best suit our needs. Thank you so much!!!! The instructions themselves were not registering with me. It didn’t seem like things were lining up. That’s when I went to KZbin and search of a visual. I also appreciate you reminding us that we need to give ourselves grace I’m very OCD, but I had to let that go. The only suggestion I would make is if you would indicate at the beginning not to get rid of the spacers because I was stacking them on top of each other and threw them out before I came upon your suggestion to use them with the blank tabs in your journal.❤

This is very helpful. But I haven’t decided if I am going to get these tabs. I got the Great Adventure Bible tabs and used them on the leather version. It was important to match the color coded tabs. Later I bought the large print Bible also and ended up buying a set of Bible tabs that were large and pretty and very easy to apply.they look very good. I also bought a set of catechism tabs from Amazon, since I have a catechism,and learned how hard it is to tab the catechism, apart from any flaws with these tabs. The topics are just a bit tricky. The Ascension catechism is so beautiful I may get it and decide if I need tabs or not. I might just get some lovely blank tabs so I can make them any way I like. Otherwise I might not put tabs on. Like you said, we are free to make our catechism tabs the best way to study and pray. It is not as important as it was with the Great Adventure Bible. BTW, how on earth do you manage to get your tabs so perfect?

Are the tabs in the Great Adventure and the CCC worth it? I haven’t received the books yet and I didn’t order tabs. Do you recommend the tabs?

It depends really on whether or not you like to use tabs generally. I did this mainly because in addition to doing the BIAY & CIY programs I was also teaching RCIA and needed to be able to find passages quickly and easily during classes. The construction of both is nearly identical. I did a video on the tabs for the Bible that is also here on KZbin. I’ll look for the link for you. 🙏🏽

When you buy these, Ascension will actually email you a link to download the tab guide for their version of the Catechism. For example, he mentions the tab about Morality. The official guide says the tab goes on page 465. Hope this helps! God bless.
