Another overpriced dirt lot in the middle of the desert with hardly any water and they call it guard gated no ocean view no great weather average temperature 110° during the summer and this is the greatest community in Summerlin lots starting around 1,000,000+ unbelievable what is happened to the Vegas I grew up in where you could buy $1 million houseand over 10,000 ft.² like my Parents Home *******

People keep moving to Las Vegas, but do they know the city has the most restrictive water policies in the entire US? How long can people live without water? The Colorado River, the source of most of LV's water (also the source of several other states' water), is at its lowest level ever. Arizona is another place where people keep moving to, and the Saudi government owns a lot of the water rights in the state.

Hey George. Thanks for the informed comment. We agree that water usage is a huge issue, but the southern Nevada water authority has done great work to reduce water usage. Despite our population growing, we’ve reduced water usage by 30% over the past 2 decades. That’s huge considering how much the city has grown.

Do you know if any of the houses being built in the north part of this community are going to be 2 stories, cause that would obstruct those mesa ridges views of the strip from the peak collection of mesa ridge.

Hi! The western part of ascension will be all single stories with the eastern part 2 stories. Mesa ridge is more elevated. The homeowners toward the front (eastern part) of Mesa ridge are more likely to lose views. Hope that helps!

I just finished building a home with Toll in Vegas and it was simply horrible quality. It has been 14 months since we closed and their warranty department is still trying to fix things. Crooked walls all over the house, issues with flooring, walls and ceilings with bulges in them, etc etc etc. Be sure to negotiate a longer warranty and DO NOT close until they fix everything. Once you close they take YEARS to fix things. They are not a premium builder anymore.

@@thethomasgrouplv Cascina Ranch. Also have three friends who built with Toll in Mesa Ridge and they had major issues as well. All kitchen cabinets needing to be replaced, Toll “forgetting” to insulate their interior walls (which was an upgrade they paid for), shower drains rusting after only 2 months, flooring throughout the entire house needing to be replaced (they had to move out of their brand new home for 2 months), etc etc etc. Toll is a crap builder when it comes to build quality. They should not be charging the prices they charge.

@@thethomasgrouplv We paid $1.7M. The first home I purchased in Green Valley back in 2003 for 308k had better build quality than this brand new Toll Brothers home.

@@sincityguns3460 Thanks for sharing that. We were aware about the issues in Mesa Ridge. It seems to us that it’s heavily dependent on who the superintendent is on the site. We have seen good and bad. Including no insulation in the walls!
