I'm surprised you hadn't come across Nita Strauss. She is right up with the best guitarists in rock irrespective of gender, and the first female guitarist to have her own signature guitar from Ibanez - which she designed herself and insisted that every single one be affordable and identical to her own - when you see one in a shop, it is not a replica - they are all made on the same line. That way, it is an advantage for her, as if her own gets damaged touring, she can quickly obtain an identical replacement, with the same playing action, neck shape, pickups, weight & balance and everything. Just plug in the new one and go! She has remained steadfastly independent throughout her career, and even as longtime lead guitarist for Alice Cooper, she simply plays for an appearance fee, rather than being a member of the band and bound by contracts. Oh, and yes - she is directly descended from the famous line of Viennese composers. I guess genetics hold true in music.

So a trick I did 15 years ago (I don’t recommend health wise) take a couple shots of honey/maple syrup with Coke to help coat your throat while finding your range. Gut/chest and throat expanded. Do. A “Huuuu” noise and try to force it more without hurting your vocals. Lift the middle of your tongue to cover the food hole while perking your lips like you’re kissing.
