people will always judge you only have to see the FLoor versus Tarja versus Annette situation. Tuomas is very deliberate in his choices and I am sure he will be again. Also so far they have only mentioned the new person as a bass player there is no mention of vocals so they may throw back to the original line up and bring in a guest vocalist for the songs that Marco would have sung in. We will see in 6 days!!

@@101Mant Love Troy but that would be a bit sad for me as I am not a fan of Troys vocals as the major support. Too droney for me, as a background fill works perfectly but otherwise... It just wouldn't be Nightwish without the twangy Marco sound backing the female lead. After 20yrs that is almost the most distinctive sound to the Nightwish vocals! You'd have to drop half the catalog! Wow all the dueting songs would have to be dropped, no more Wish I had an Angel, I want My Tears Back and so on noooooo!! I HOPE they think a bit harder about this if it is a forever thing, if it is only for a year or so I can live with it as they won't be touring near me in Aus for ages anyway...

I was on of the lucky ones there. This song was in the middle of the set. We were singing an adaptation from a soccer chant we do when we "adopt" a band and we want to show love, respect and support for them. As a side note, Floor was feeling under the weather that night. Well, she was getting over it - it was at its worst in Bogota, when she couldn't even speak before or after the show, but still managed the whole show, and you can't tell if you don't know her normal singing - it was still better than most (any?) others could have done. Of course, pushing on through the normal touring schedule can't have done much to help her speed of recovery, but carry on she did, without missing a single show.

I REALLY like the fact you acknowledged Floor's amazing support in the light, airy section. I saw some other commentators that totally missed how difficult that was to pull off (even though they were supposedly voice coaches), and instead criticized that it sounded a bit weak and unsupported...(SMH)

Hey, new sub here ^^ This show was for the 20th anniversary tour. The song is in the middle of the setlist. We were lucky enough to have them pick Buenos Aires as the place to film the DVD. We love Nightwish and symphonic metal over here. The chant in the beginning is usually what we sing towards our favourite football/soccer team, but we use it to cheer for anything.

I am as excited as you are about seeing them live later this year (hopefully 🙏). The tears in the lyrics of this song are that of childhood, basically it is Tuomas reflecting on what one loses when growing up, all the wonder and excitement (good and maybe also bad). Hence it is an uplifting song, because it is meant to bring back those wonderful moments from childhood. Nice reaction, as usual 👍🙂

yeah, Robert's right 12th or 13th in a 21song set list that ended with "Greatest Show on Earth" and "Ghost Love Score", and as far as her dancing, I did see an interview once where she was asked if she choreographed or planned her moves and she replied that mostly she just reacts to the way she feels. And Tuomas said of this tour they tried a lot of rehearsals cause he made up the play list from a lot of their old songs and Marco, Floor, and Troy had to improvise cause he wasn't sure if he even remembered how they were before that's why he smiles a lot. ha

I like so much your Nightwish reactions and i see on one of those reactions that you are now discovering new groups and new music. By the way, i see some of your videos and, wow, you have a great voice!! Well, i have 2 sugestions for you. I do not mind if you dont react to them but i think you need to hear this 2 groups. First one is Katatonia. I only know them in their last 3 albums. And a live acoustic performance in a church, so so awesome, is Live Sanctitude. Fantastic concert, im sure that you like that. My other sugestion cames with a little story. When i was young, in 1998, i went to a music store in Donostia(San Sebastian). Donosti Rock is the name of the store and is open yet. Is a very little store in the beautifull heart of the old town. Well, the owner have all the music that he sells on his back. All of them. In this time i like so much Helloween, Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Iron Maiden..stuff like that. I like them so much in this days. Well, when the owner see me seeking something new he told me: Hi, adittu al duk nozpattere Paradise Lost?(Hey, have you here sometimes Paradise Lost?) I never hear of them and he plays the newest album in the store only for me. When i hear the first notes of the piano of Enchantement, the first son, i love it. I buy the collector box with a beautifull art works. 23 years later is one of my favouritest discs. Please, hear Katatonia and Paradise Lost, and if you did and you dont react, let me now if you like them. They are so so underrated in my opinion. I hope you the best in your live and in your music journey like a singer, you have a beautifull voice. She was recovering from a flu in this concert, so she was probably not at her 100%, but the audience gave them so much energy, I'm sure it helped a lot and she absolutely loved this show. About the Marcos replacement, it's not expected to be a singer but "only" a touring bass player, accordingly with a Tuomas interview few weeks ago, will be Floor and Troy to fill Marco vocals, and he said they sounded really well (even if they rehersed only one day before Floor had to be hospitalized). I'm really curious, as Troy has a nice but really different voice, I don't know what to expect but I'm sure they will perform an amazing show.

Hey Anastasia! Love your reaction to this. This I think they are just over half way through the set list. I am wondering if you could please react to this same venue, please react to the song Dead Boys Poem. Tuomas who creates the music for Nightwish writes about a child who feels like he isn't getting the love he longs for from parents and others and turn to music for what he desires. I just feel that this song is in my opinion is the most grand song that Tuomas has written. The entire band get into the lyrics and music, with Floor swaying thru out and even Emmpu who is usually the one who love to play around on stage gets into his solo and looks like an actual tear in his eyes. Never thought about her dance being borne from her training, but that would make sense given your experience with that, and Floor's dedication to her craft. I just assumed it was a folky dance to match the music.

I want my tears back would usaly be in the middle of the setlist, i also think it was in this case.. i belive the crowd simply is singing Olay in the beggining, but only as the Arhgentina crowd can do that right..!!
